    It's perfect to use and very easy but the only reason ...It's perfect to use and very easy but the only reason I'm giving it 3 that because you can't take a snapshot during night time of if it little dark. I found out that is a manefactur error. Rather that that nice to have it. 3MH-85A11U Camera / MicrophoneMy cell phone takes a better picture than this Camera / Mic and is much easier to use. Just take the pic and transfer it onto the Radio's Micro SD card. Then send them out over the Radio. 1Yaesu didn't field test this much before calling it good to go and save a life.First disappointment with Yaesu. I thought this would be a good Microphone for the Yaesu APRS FT1DR or FT2DR radios for outdoor use.I've never had a complaint about any Yeasu products until now. I thank the Yaesu engineers for my FT-60r, FT-90, FT8800r (love the dual memory banks), FT-8900r, FT857-D (x2) and all the great accessories - even though the price was not inexpensive. For this camera microphone to be used with FT1DR and FT2DR in the outdoors - no go.If you are a serious outdoorsman (not a hunt - from - the truck, fair weather Sunday stick to the beaten path type hiker, or off-roading type), don't buy this microphone. Why? The $140 heavy camera microphone will not stay in the radio because it's only connection is a 90 degree non-locking old style mini USB data port, seriously!In my opinion, this is a fair weather Sunday microphone not meant for off-road outdoor activities except maybe for walking the dogs. The only fix is to secure this microphone with quality duct tape, rubber bands, or zip ties before leaving the roadway.Sorry Yaesu, I love your products, but I wouldn't trust this microphone to stay attached for very long in the outdoors. 1
