Rough start..Ended up Great!!Ordered on Prime Day cause it was a few dollars off and I had been looking for one to keep an eye on my dogs throughout the day. It shipped and arrived quickly. Myself and husband are pretty well versed in setting up electronics and don't usually have issues. The instructions seemed easy enough. What was suppose to be 15 min set up ended up being over an hour with no success. We tried with WiFi and the provided Ethernet cable. Nothing. I tried the Chat function to get a hold of someone, waited 10 min for someone to come on. Then called the customer service line..in China (found out a few weeks later on my bill that this 7 min call cost me $22). The call went to someones home I think cause they answered "hello" and i had to ask if it was customer service. I was transferred a couple times each time explaining what I needed. Finally the last rep told me to use the Ethernet cable, which we already tried. So I hung up and gave up. Figured I would just return and try something else. I left Seller Feedback and briefly told them this. Within 24hrs I received an email from the Seller, Coral, and she said apologized for the difficulty. She offered to send me a replacement and insisted it was just a fluke. I could even keep the one I already had. I said OK and one was delivered to me within a week. Tried setting it up with WiFi, nothing. Then tried with the cable and Voila! It worked! Once set up, it's very user friendly and the picture quality is surprisingly clear. I can hear my dogs hush them down if needed. There is slight delay on both sides but that's expected and fine. I've had no issues since.Since they allowed me to keep the other one, I gave it to a co-worker. I told her the trouble I had but that she could give it a try and if it didn't work, no loss. She tried it and it didn't work on WiFi either but it did perfectly with the cable. No idea why it worked with her but not me. I know she has a different internet provider than I do but not sure if that made a difference.Coral checked in with me about a week later to make sure everything came out OK. I'm pleased with how courteous and prompt she was once the issue was brought to their attention. I now recommend this camera to my other dog moms who are looking for a camera at a great price.4We would buy it againWe both this for the baby room, because our old camera didn't work anymore. We were surprised when we find out that 4 people can watch at the same time. Our old camera didn't have this option.We can always see, if our baby sleeps already or not. We make fun and talk to him though the camera. :-) We can move it to the sides, up and down, which is great for us. We also appreciate the zoom. My husband and I are definitely happy with this camera. We take a lot of pictures of our son sleeping and safe the videos. 5 Stars from us.5A great camera for the price.A great IP camera for the price. They have their own software app that automatically connects them to your network. It also configures their port forwarding so you can see their stream anywhere you have the internet. You can turn off their ir lights and still get b&w videos from the street lights. The only issue is they don't use standard port and it constantly changes if you want to use your own app. You need to download their camera finder app to get the ports and then assign the port so it doesn't change. Also, when setting up, be sure to use your 2.4 gig network. After setup, you can use your 5 gig.5Great camera for the price with top notch customer serviceThis was recommended to me by a friend and I liked what you get for the price. Had no problem setting it up. The video quality is really good and I love all the features such as the two way mic and being able to remotely move the camera. Night vision is a plus too. The only negative is that you have to buy an SD card to record, but I would rather do that than pay a monthly fee. Even if I don't record at times, I like that I can check the camera when I'm not at home.The major positive is that the customer service has been top notch. I never have a problem asking questions through the online customer service and the response is quick. I even had a question via email and they were very prompt in answering and accommodating. You can set up a schedule to receive notifications when they detect movement or record on motion detection. The nighttime vision is awesome. The two-way audio is a plus and works great. Also, the WIFI is exceptional. I am often reluctant to run video/audio over WIFI due to latency and signal degradation, but I have experienced none of that and I have had these for a week now. This inexpensive monitor does the trick. Good vision during night. Clear picture at least for my purpose. Pairing is a breeze. I can watch the camera from my iPhone and iPad. Need to try my wife s Android.Note: TURN ON the volume when you pair. Took me 15 minutes and finally succeeded with the iPad. Because I turn off the sound on my iPhone! Obviously just turn on the volume is not enough. If the button on the side of your iPad home is off, it will not play the sound that s needed to configure the camera.5
