It s very good quality.4Sunset to sunrise attention-getter.....that has added safety for me and my dog.I live halfway down a country road that dead ends at a reservoir. About half of its length has no sidewalk or shoulder. Even though sparsely populated, my neighbors (and their callers) always seem to be running late, as they regularly exceed the 30mph speed limit and often only grudgingly give way to cyclist, runners and walkers with whom they are obliged to share the road...but sometimes seem too much in a hurry to do so.As a dog owner, the winter months are challenging in making sure that the dog (an over-exuberant Weimaraner in my case) gets enough exercise. Neither of us mind the cold, but following or crossing the aforementioned country road gets way adventuresome after dark.From the first wearing of this vest, I noticed vehicles giving us greater distance as they passed. My confidence in its ability to allow me to be seen in the dark has grown rapidly. Bright colors, lots of reflective surface and 4 front pockets add extra utility.This vest definitely runs small. Plan on buying at least one size up from you normal size, and two or three sizes up if you plan to wear this over outerwear.One of the few things I've purchased from Amazon that is truly shiny! Select with confidence.5Obnoxiously noticeable and reflective--both of which are good!As someone who commutes to work by bicycle most every day being visible to cars is important to me--especially during winter when I'll often leave work when it's dark out. This does a pretty great job at making one impossible to miss as long as drivers are not horrifically negligent (no headlights at night). It runs a bit large but this helps w/ having it fit over thick winter layers.5who defines sizes???The vest was labeled 5X, which usually gives at least a 60-62" waist on pants & shirts and more at the chest.I nearly tore out the back getting my arms in, and there's about a 10" gap keeping me from starting the zipper. I'll have to pay someone to add elastic and/or velcro side straps to make it fit.If I want to take my motorcycle on base, a reflective vest seems to be one of the requirements.2Nice Safety Vest!Nice safety vest for the price. The sizes run like sweatshirts and in my case I wanted something that could go over my heaviest winter coat, in case I had to change a tire at night during an NJ winter. I m 6 3 , wear a 44 long sport coat and my heaviest winter coat is an XL from LLBean. I found that this vest in 3XL was a comfortable snug fit over the Bean XL winter coat, less snug over my less substantial coats. A good fit for me.5Otherwise vest quality was good. Since it was for my husbandFor some reason this vest was not Gender neutral and had the zipper pull on the left side. Otherwise vest quality was good. Since it was for my husband, he wasn't particularly pleased. Seems it is hard to teach an old man new tricks.2Meant for womenI didn't see any mention on the bag it came in, or on the product; it seems to be meant for women. The zipper is on the "wrong" side and the upper chest area seems a bit looser fitting than the rest of the vest.3Would buy again if needed.Product has great sized pockets.Reflective areas work as stated.Sleeves are in between short and 3/4.Overall a great indoor working safety vest.Only objection ... material is slightly on the thin side, enabling it to tear a bit easy. I only had one area at work where i had to be careful not rubbing on the material as walking by.Would recommend this to an operator being required to wear safety vests during work.4Built to last.Good product. I wash my hi-vis frequently and this has stood up past the typical season my vests last. If you wash less frequently (i wash every week) 2 vests woulda probably last 6 months to a year. Size as expected.5
