I was using the bracketing mode on my camera and needed a way to fire off a series of five photos reliably and this did the trick . I really like the reliability of the wired version as well. This is just a great tool to have around. 5Great piece for long exposure photographyI have used this for all kinds of photography. The sunset photo attached was taken using this remote. I figured up my exposure time using several filters, plugged in the time for the timer and hit the button. Worked as expected. When I shoot lightning at night, I don't even turn it on. It works without even having to be on. Just press the button and it works like an analog type shutter release. Every landscape and long exposure photographer needs this in the bag!
