I have not tried the microphone out yet but I have plugged it in and noticed it does give above 600 lines of resolution, which is good, the night vision mode is pretty good as well around 30 feet IR light. You get what you pay for. Very light weight and small 3You Get What you Pay for Sad but TrueThe image quality is horrible and the product feels like a toy. Not even a good paperweight here.
