Just what I wanted.I bought one, liked it, and went back for two more. The color temperature is just right for lending warm ambience to an otherwise unlit kitchen, and they are bright enough to compensate for the shadow from the overhead light. As advertised, they do not get hot. And the wires are long enough.5Actual lighting is very underwhelming. I have a Detolf 4 tier glass shelf that I wanted to accent with lighting. This seemed like the perfect solution.When I received the unit I test mocked up the measurements and everything seemed to light up well enough but before installation I wanted to test the actual lighting output before installing on each shelf. Luckily I did. The actual output of the LED is underwhelming. I'm in a corner office with limited lighting in general and the LED gave barely enough to seem "dim" if you are looking for super low super dim lighting this is for you. My collectibles were not able be seen in any detail of this LED kit. I have action figures comics etc and unfortunately the lighting did not work for my solution. Again I am looking for bright LED to accent and show the details of my collectibles. I'm not looking to just light up for mood lighting or anything. 1 star = low bright light compared to what was shown in examples it doesn't give that much lighting affect. For my application the photos from stock doesn't output the amount of lighting as advertised.Pros = For a Detolf the wiring is simple and seemed easier than most kits.Concerns = the mechanisms i would double tape down at the joints just to reinforce them.Cons = lighting is super low not bright as advertised in stock photos and I based my purchased against as advertised LED. For my display I was looking for bright LED and this did not do it for me. Might be good for your solution just not mine. Always be hunting... 1Died after short use (UPDATED)Update 9/3/18: The seller saw my review and contacted me, even though I was well beyond the warranty period they sent me another new unit. I really do like these lights, they work very well for this application. I mounted them under the front edge of the shelves I built in the kitchen, at a 45 deg angle facing in. Just the right amount of brightness! The shelves are about 16" deep so it's hard to see under there, and these lights fixed that. I am using a switched receptacle to control them, not the switch on the cord.I bought these last summer as part of a kitchen remodel at our camp, unfortunately got delayed installing until this summer. Installed under shelves, they looked great. Very elaborate install, took me quite a while to get it all installed. Used them maybe a dozen times, today they quit working. Nothing out of the transformer, it's dead.Very unhappy. Not sure what to get as a replacement.4These are the ones to get.Efrank 4pcs Under Kitchen Cabinet Led Lights Warm White Energy Saving (Warm White) These lights are really nicer than I expected for the money. And they just make my home entertainment racks look so contemporary and stylish. These are the ones to get.5Great product to illuminate pictures!I m using these LEDs as up lights to accent pictures sitting on a fireplace mantel. Three pictures, three light strips, I used a piece of moulding across the top of the mantel along the front edge, so the LEDs, placed up against the back side of the trim piece, can t be seen from the front. Ran the wires behind the pictures and will plan to hide them with white wire loom. These LEDs provide a nice warm light, ideal for my application and easily reconfigurable for the future.5Dead on Arrival UPDATED REVIEW - Excellent customer serviceThe first time I plugged these in, they started flashing like a strobe light. I tried rearranging the connections, just plugging in one or two, but it didn't make any difference. Unfortunately I bought these several months ago and the return period already past so I'm out the $$$ for these. Lesson learned: you get what you pay for for and test things out as soon as you get them.UPDATED: I was well outside of Amazon's return period but when I reached out to the vendor "Cefrank", they were extremely helpful and replied promptly. They sent me a replacement within a few days. The replacement was actually a newer version than the original. Their excellent customer service changed this from a one-star rating to an easy five-star.5Very satisifiedPros: Very low power consumption. Easy setup. Wide stripes generate almost no shadows. Nice looking.Cons: Light output somewhat limited; expected it to be brighter. Light pattern no too uniform and changes color, from white in the center to greenish in the edges. Supplied screws very weak: will break easily. Cables are rather long, which can be good in some installations, but cannot be easily (or cleanly) shortened to required length, so there will always be a lot of slack that must be hidden somewhere.4Satisfied, but like others wished they were brighter. Similar to many other reviews, they are not as bright as I would like, but they are easy to install, and serve the purpose for which I purchased them. I installed inside a 4 shelf self standing cabinet (antique). They provide light on every shelf. The long wires allowed me to place the transformer in a convenient location to access the on-off switch and pull each lead back to the junction bus provided. The low voltage, low heat makes these ideal to mount inside a cabinet where other fixtures would be too hot and be a fire hazard. Over all I am very satisfied but would have prefered them to be brighter.A suggestion to improve them would be to supply cheap little wedge shaped plastic shims with a hole aligned with the current mounting holes, one for each end. This way the lights could be canted or aimed back a little bit simply by lining up the hole in the wedge and the hole in the mounting piece on either end, then running the screw through both pieces. 4Arrived broken Just purchased. Fresh out of the box, all for lights FLASH as if they were designed to do so... I have found others mention flashing when theirs failed after a while. Well, mine were doing it right off the bat! Everything about these lights screams cheap and flimsy, anyway.Not surprising that they're failing on people. Returning. 1Best cabinet lighting option for the DIY'er!I really didn't want to go with the wireless under cabinet lighting because I didn't feel like replacing batteries often and didn't want to put forth the time and money to install hardwired under cabinet lighting. The next best thing is this item because you get the brightness of hardwired under cabinet lighting and don't have to replace batteries. The length of cords comes just right and with plenty of slack to deal with those differently spaced cabinets, allowing you to show your cabinets in their entirety, not just a small section and not having to splice wire in for those extended reaches. The fact that these are bar lights makes the lighting look more professional and evenly distributed across the cabinets, not just beamed over a small section as many puck or circular lights do. 4 lights is the perfect amount too so you don't have to buy two 3 packs or one 8 pack. The bar lights are thin and easily hide under the lip of the cabinet making them invisible which adds to the touch of a professional installation and making them easily invisible. The lighting is bright and the placement of the switch was easy. I love that these lights come with screw mounting options as the adhesive will likely wear off after time and I prefer to screw them in because of that. After my first order and satisfaction I bought another set for upper cabinet accent lighting. Easy installation, great price, and the best choice for those new to cabinet lighting and looking for the best budget friendly option.The only thing I wish I could find in cabinet lighting is a wireless or modular switch I could attach next to the current light switch. But for the price this item can't be beat!5Beautiful soft light and simple to install.These were VERY easy to install under my built-in bookshelves. I replaced some clunky old fluorescent fixtures with these and they look beautiful! They are very slim and easily hide behind the trim on each shelf. The self-adhesive strips supplied with the product make hanging these lights a snap. I used the small screws (also included) once I attached each light to the underside of the shelf. You could probably just use the adhesive strips (they seem more than strong enough for these dainty fixtures) but I wanted the extra durability of the screws.There's really nothing I can say that I would improve on this product. The cable lengths are generous and more than sufficient for my project. I've included a photo of the completed install (cat not included).5Very good lighting setThis is an excellent product. Easy to set up and quite functional. I actually bought another set after seeing how the first one worked and I would definitely buy it again.5These are AMAZING !The choice you have to make is whether you want the warm white or the "snow" white lights. We chose the snow white because our countertops were beign changed from white 4x4 tile to a much darker blue pearl grantie. The cabinets were being changed from a honey oak to a cinnamon cherry. So, overall the area would be darker. These lights (several 31 inch and several 12 inch? totally blow out the original florescent lights that we had under the cabinets. They are a bright, and even light. WOW !5
