Lock works solidElectromagnetic lock portion is solid. Instructions were clear enough for someone who has never installed something like this before. It didn t come with any mounting brackets for the electromagnetic portion, had to improvise. I used a network cable to wire everything, made it a lot easier. Keypad feels flimsy and cheap, ended up not using it since it cheapened the look and feel of it.3Great door access systemWanted to limit access to the building. Works great! Installation instructions could have been better, but anyone with a reasonable amount of 'know how' will be able to set this up.5Pretty easy, definately worth the $I made a room that I wanted to lock up and I checked out a number of approaches. This one seemed to be what I needed so I got one.Let me say fist that the instructions require a bit of work. Not a crazy amount but you have to focus. This isn't an IKEA bookcase. Each component has it's own instruction sheet and the nomenclature is not always exactly the same. Why in the world don't the Chinese manufacturers hire someone who can render the instructions into idiomatic English? An enigma for another day.I spread everything out on a table and assembled the configuration that I wanted (I had no need for the control panel). Took me about 45 minutes to set it up. Worked fine so I then went to the install phase.The only suggestion that I have is that you make sure the plate is close to/touching the electromagnet. Oh, one other thing. The guts of the devices do not look like they can handle hard use. Be delicate.Once the thing is in it works perfectly. I am using the clicker rather than the keypad and/or the RFID things. I might run a wire to the button and put it somewhere out of the way.Oh yeah. You might want to get a battery backup too. After going to the expense and trouble of getting and installing this thing it would be really sad if your "secure" door kept popping open because of outages that last less than a second.Cool tech and cheap. Put it on your bathroom and hilarity will ensue.5Product works Great. This product works great, but you better be ready figure out the wiring on your own. While there is a diagram on each component there are no instructions to indicate what plugs in where. On the other hand there is a strong sense of accomplishment when you figure it out, so keep holding out for that.4Great quality for the price.Fairly easy to install if you're familiar with electronics. The wiring diagrams are accurate. The only thing that threw me was the flashing red LED when it powered up. I assumed it was some kind of fault and not the normal operation. Once it's all up and running you just enter the programming mode, assign the key fobs or cards, and hand them out to who you want to get access. The remote is a nice touch as it'll allow folks to disable the magnet without touching the system itself. An intruder will destroy the door before they defeat the magnet.5it's pretty accurate, just make sure you wire correctly the ...That product is working perfectly once you figure out the correct way to install it. Follow the instructions of one of the buyer comments, it's pretty accurate, just make sure you wire correctly the lock (I added a comment for that). I also used the ZL bracket as it was needed for our door. Everything works as expected. The only think I would change is the remote. You have to press A to open THEN press B to lock again... I would have expected a timer, where the lock goes to lock itself after a few second, but it's not like and electric strike, though I see an advantage of being able to unlock the magnet.Also, it would be interesting to be able to have more than one keypad code to open the lock... so you can give one to the mail guy, another to Fedex/UPS or the landlord... etc... one only is limitation and that could be easily fixed by the manufacturer.The red blinking on the keypad is normal, but nowhere on the documentation can you read it.To get out of programmation on the keypad, i had to press * (star key) twice, while in the documentation they said once is enough, otherwise eveything works as expected and described.Anyway, great product for a great price... I paid $10 more to have 3 remotes programmed by the factory, it had to be order from the beginning.5Read my commentTo program the card and blue little fobs just assign any 3 digit combination numbers between 000 and 500, do not read or use any numbers printed on the cards or fobs, then mark each card with its own registering 3 digit code so if you want to delete any card or fob you know which number you assigned to it, anyone can look at the numbers you wrote on the card and fobs since they are meaningless without the master programing 5 digit code that you can assign to the main control panel. The control remote fob with the A B switch you will need to open by pressing A then you have to press B to lock again otherwise it will remain unlocked ( this is a good feature if you are going to be coming in and out frequently during a short period of time, but there is a good chance I will forget to hit the B button to reactivate the door lock) however, next to the led in the circuit board of the remote receiver box there is a 4 prong with a little jumper, remove the jumper by pulling it and then the A button will work as if you hit the door exit button and the B button will become useless, I did it like that and I use the remote fob on the desk as a push button to open the door that way I don't have to get up to touch the door exit button by the door when someone rings the door bell. Hope this helps.5Junk mag lock other stuff works ok but for the price i cant complainAll components except the controller and the exit switch are cheaply made but they worked fine easy to connect if you know what ur doing ! , EXCEPT the mag lock which warms up and gets weak for some reason, i contacted the seller and he wanted me to send him a picture he said ! Now how the hell are u supposed to send a picture that shows weak magnetic latch ! I replaced it with a locally purchased maglock and kept the rest of the stuff ... i guess u cant get it all3plz buy great producthello amazon friends this is a kick*** system for what its worth. i know the instructions blow but im here to help. this system is like most fire panels its position and order picky. always always do it in this order mount power supply for ideal placement. figuring out exactly where you want it will determine how much wire you will need based on where other devices will be attached. always install keypad first. at this point pigtail is your friend.cat5 wire works great for thismake a pigtail for +12v, ground, common and push. make these connections at power supply.tie com and ground pigtails together to make one pigtail......attach this to 12- on keypad make a ground pigtail here to next device later.connect 12+ wire to 12+ on keypadconnect push wire to push on keypad...... do not attach keypad to face yet let it dangle......next take doorbell attach attach yellow and green wires from doorbell to signals on keypad attach red wire to 12+ pigtail from supply and black wire to common/ground pigtail. mount doorbell its complete.next device is the remote. on inside of remote connect red wire to 12+ pigtail, black wire to com/grd pigtail made at device closed loop connect no to push pigtail at power supply mount it its done.next is the exit button.........attach n/o wire to com/grd pigtail from psupply other wire to push pigtail mount it its donenext is the star of the show the lock. run 2 wires from psupply nc and com/grd let them hang the lock is very detailed part.remove 2 blk lock nuts one at the top of lock that can be seen untighten the 2 screws then at the bottom of the lock theres a small door unscrew the door then the other lock nut loosen those remove installation plate. inside lock door select voltage 12v or 24 12 works best to do this remove two wire connections to reveal 2 jumpers remove the second jumper 12 volts have been selected mount lock plate attach 2 hanging wires n/c wire to 12+ inside lock and com/grd from exit button to complete circuit this can be done at psupply.finally connect power to 2 red wires on left side of psupply apply power ......program and enjoy. hope this helps.5
