    Does what is says it will do Had it for almost 2 months and still working greatHad no problems with earpiece or micThe only concern is what to do with the wires, they are long, but it is better than being too short. 5Failed The company is great, fast shipping and the product was exactly as described. The microphone portion of this kit failed after about an hour in the field. The size of the mic is good, the earpiece is good, but takes some bending to get it to stay properly. The wires are too long, but I'd rather they be too long than too short as with other models.I asked for a return and it was approved. I really hope it was an isolated incident. 1Simply the best! These are exactly what we were looking for. We have about 10 officers on a shift at one time and we needed an in-ear communication solution to our HT1250 radios. We had used the Motorola brand ear piece units for a long time but they continued to break (as they were shared with different people and experienced more than normal abuse). They also cost around $100.I can't believe the quality of these ear piece units for the price. This is exactly what we needed. I have only purchased four so far and am planning on purchasing about ten more. I wanted to test them out and so far there is absolutely nothing negative for me to say.Once again these are great ear pieces for a great price!!! 5A must for any dock worker; tough and professional Bought this to use in a heavy industrial area I was working in, with loud machinery, belts, and dock doors. Ear protection alone wasn't enough, so I decided to opt for an ear-canal headset solution to improve communication and comfort without sacrificing radio clarity. With the earpiece in one ear, and protection in the other, my work became less obnoxious, comfortable, and allowed more private communication with management.The cables are tough, and have snow minimal wear despite consistent abuse and tugging. The microphone is also solid, and the button cover clicks pleasantly. As for the earpiece, it can easily be disassembled from the headphone structure, for cleaning and regular maintenance.Would recommend for anyone with an HT750 or compatible radio. 5motorola radio mike. This is a good one. I use it in class As and no problem. Radio on the belt in a pouch and tuck it in under the shirt. Clear and no feedback from others around you. 5Perfect Headset. I work security and this mic worked perfect with our radios. The sound is clear through the earpiece and your voice comes through perfectly on the mic. Easy to attach to your uniform and the length of the wiring is perfect. The only reason i gave it 4stars and not 5 was the sole fact that the earpiece doesn't fit perfectly over the ear, it slides off every now and then no matter how i adjust it. I am really happy I decided to go with this over all others. 5Should be issued with the radio... I purchased this mic for use at a county jail. The standard issue radio we have (Motorola HT750) is fairly versatile, but many transmissions can missed when it's attached to your belt, and most likely behind your back. I had purchased a speaker mic months prior that remedied this problem, but I found that the inmates could hear all the transmissions, and would sit quietly to listen to what was going on throughout the jail. From the first day I tried this Surveillance Mic, I loved it. From experience, I knew my coworkers would be... less than understanding, initially. I've heard countless references to the Secret Service in the past few weeks. That being said, as the joke began to wear off, and I demonstrated how the inmates could not hear the transmissions, more and more people became interested in purchasing one for themselves.USABILITY:The INCOMING transmissions come through the earpiece so clearly, even in fairly noisy environments, I frequently have to turn the radio down. The clarity is like placing the regular radio speaker near your ear. Sounds WILL NOT come through the earpiece, however, if it becomes clogged, so make sure you clean your ears before EACH use.The OUTGOING transmission through the mic comes over the radio as if your were speaking directly into the radio microphone... and in many cases, clearer. I have the microphone pinned near the second button down on my uniform, and when I transmit, I don't need to raise my voice at all. I can continue to look forward, and speak in a quiet voice, and the microphone receives it crystal clear.COMFORTABLENESS:The earpiece comes with two different size heads. Rating this one way or another is really based on each person. For me, the smaller earpiece head was far more comfortable. That being said, both are very soft, comfortable silicone. Depending on how tight the fit is, it will, however, block most of the outside sounds from whichever ear you have it in, much like using a earplug with a tiny speaker in it.The clip to hold the tube is somewhat obtrusive, but when placed in the right spot, you won't notice it. I actually clip mine onto my undershirt, and wear it under my uniform shirt. The only parts visible are the sound tube, and the microphone.All in all, I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND this surveillance microphone...especially to anyone in corrections. 5Two Stars Doesnt transmit 2Buy it This is an excellent choice of equipment for your Motorola ht1250. It was a little positional at first bit that was due to dirty contacts on my 13 year old radio. Cleaned them up and have had nothing but clear reception /transmission since. The microphone is very clear and my dispatchers have commented on how much better it sounds over my issued shoulder microphone. 5
