    great seller,... When I first purchased this surveillance earpiece, I liked it but I noticed that I had trouble putting it on because it did not have a QD (quick disconnect) on the radio adapter. I asked the seller for a refund and because they care about their customers instead of a return, they helped me to find the correct earpiece I needed and accommodated me by allowing me to send the original piece back (at no charge) and sent me the another earpiece. The only disappointment was with the second earpiece. For some reason this earpiece did not work well for me while on duty. My dispatch couldn't hear me but there was always a delay when transmitting and it kept keying up the mic even if I wasn't pressing any buttons. Great price but unfortunately didnt work for me. Thanks. 3Love it! If you're debating getting this two-wire mic, don't hesitate! Buy it! I'm a police officer and use this in conjunction with my Motorola XTS3000 radio 12+ hours per day. I can't speak highly enough of the overall quality. The noise-cancelling microphones push-button feels very smooth and feels of high quality. The kevlar-reinforced cables feel strong. The radio attachment looks and feels to be of high quality as well. The push button on the radio attachment doesn't protrude too far, eliminating accidentally keying-up from the radio touching the driver seat. The sound is crisp and not muffled at all. Plenty of volume at 3/4 knob, even with vehicle traffic in the area, and that's with my (not included) skeletal earbud! It ships with two earbuds, one "large" and one "medium". Besides changing to a skeletal, the only modification I've made is trimming the clear acoustic tube about 1/4"-3/8" on the earbud side for a slightly tighter fit over the top of my ear. I was recommended this Pulsat two-wire from coworkers and can only continue to recommend it to others within my agency!Picture Ben Stiller in Starsky & Hutch saying "do it", "do it". I chose this unit because it has 2 wires coming from the connector one wire going to the Mic/ PTT button and the other going to the ear piece. A lot of other units have a wire going from the connector to the mic then another from the mic to the connector. This is much more flexible by allowing me to run the mic wire in front of my body and the ear piece behind my back.The ear mold that the ear piece came with was not acceptable because you had to shove it in your ear and made it difficult to hear the outside world. This is an easy $7 fix as you can buy ear mold ear pieces that fit snug in your ear without having to shove a piece of rubber into your ear drum. An extra bonus to the ear mold is I can easily hear the outside world. Replacement Large Ear mold Ear bud One Pair for Two-Way Radio Coil Tube Audio Kits You can also pull the clear hose off of the plastic ear attachment piece allowing you to cut it down for a perfect fit around your ear. Note that I can hear everything load and clear. I was on a medical yesterday and the fire trucks were running compressors and generators trying to lift a truck and I could hear perfectly.The clarity of the ear piece is superb I can't tell the difference it and my shoulder mic. I can also keep it low enough for me to hear and no one else. The mic comes across crystal clear with no interference even in windy conditions. Also note I have not had any problems with either of the PTT buttons.This is the best you're going to get without spending over $100. This is truly a 5 star product. 5Very good product for the price. I am a police officer and have used this product for patrol purposes for over a week now. The device is sturdy and well made. The ear bud is a perfect size and is not uncomfortable. The mic is perfectly functional, dispatch has not had any issue hearing me. The only caution comes in the form of donning the gear. I had to cut a hole into my uniform shirt to make the device fit properly. I did not like having the wires stretch below my shirt line in my pants and back up. The wires were uncomfortable for me, this is likely just a me problem. Other wise I am very happy. 5Overall I like this mic setup Overall I like this mic setup. It's a bit of a pain running the wires through your uniform but otherwise it works great. Dispatchers haven't complained about microphone quality and I've been able to hear clearly. 4Great headset for the price with awesome sound quality and perfect PTT design Reason for ordering: The pictures make it look like it only has one PTT button, just on the mic itself. The one I was currently using had a PTT button on the connector piece to the radio and every time I got in or out of my car it would key up unless I was super careful because it would be depressed by the seat cushion. I loved having the second PTT button for when wearing a coat over the main PTT but hated the accidental key ups.Initial observation: The product I received does have 2 PTT buttons, one on the mic and one on the connector piece but the way they designed the second PTT button is awesome. It's kind of recessed into the connector piece so it doesn't get pressed by the seat of my car but I can still easily use it when I am wearing a coat over the main PTT button. I have been using it for about a week now and have had zero issues with it keying up as I get in/out of the car.Sound quality: Excellent. It's a decent amount louder than any other headset I've used and is by far more clear. It seems to have cut the static sound in half. I can hear it great in clubs/bars or on the street and I haven't even turned it up all the way yet.Physical quality: Pretty good. The wires don't seem quite as "tough" as my last headset but they still feel good quality and they are much longer which makes it easier to tuck down and out from my shirt. It stays connected to the radio without using the retention screw which is nice so I can disconnect it quickly. The Mic/PTT feel very good quality but also light weight and small with a nicely textured button.Overall: So far I think this was a great purchase and I will definitely buy another one in the future, especially for the reasonable price. I have bought $10 and $20 headsets before and there's always been at least one issue. Also I want to reiterate that the sound quality on this thing is outstanding, best I have ever heard. The only con I can think of is the shirt clip for the earpiece tube doesn't have any teeth on it to help keep it in place but then again I haven't had any issues with it slipping off yet so I guess it's not too big a deal. The setup works fine.. but i feel like at some point i may not have a functioning receiver/mic when i really may need it.. i'm going to switch to a standard mic with a 3.5 jack on it because I don't trust this long term. 3Good Sound and Make-up I bought this earpiece because I needed a concealed means of communication in my workplace, and although I work in an area where there may not be a lot of noise this earpiece has adequate sound production and also allows my speech to be transmitted clearly. The only reason I only gave this product 4 stars is because it is not capable of being removed from the radio regularly at the end of a duty shift, causing me to have to remove the wiring from my uniform and leaving it attached to my radio I use each day. Otherwise I would suggest this product for anyone needing a concealed earpiece in an environment where communication is key. 4SURPRISED AT THE DURABILITY FOR $40.00!!! I've owned this model earpiece for approximately two years. I've used it in all conditions and have never had an issue with this earpiece. I hear all transmissions from dispatch and have never had a problem with transmitting. Several co-workers were surprised at how clear I was transmitting with such a small mike. I definitely recommend buying the molded earbuds. I don't have a problem with this earpiece not having a quick disconnect at the radio. It sounds like one more thing that could go wrong with other models. I highly recommend this product. I have not been disappointed!!! 5
