Customer Reviews

Sturdy, good looking product Sturdy, good looking product. The one-sided hinge was a life saver for getting all my wires connected in the back.Used with 2x Leviton 49255-H48 QuickPort Flat Panel, 48-Port, 2RU, Cable Management Bar Included for a clean wiring job in my wiring closet. 5If you need a little more depth... If you want to mount a switch that is a little too deep for this bracket, get some M5-.8 screws (25mm to 50mm long depending on how much more space you need in the back) and nuts and use them to make a standoff for your switch. Those are metric sizes, but I found them at my local Home Depot in packs of twos for less than a dollar. If you have difficulty finding the metric sizes, you might get away with #10-32 screws, but I tried them, and it's not a perfect fit and found them to be too loose in the bracket's screw holes.Update: pictures of the standoffs are up now. One picture is from below and you can see the right angle cord in the back. The other is from the side. It looks a little crooked because I think I took the picture before I leveled it. 5What a great rack you have! No problems here. They are wall mount racks. They are 2U. I've ordered 2 of these now and each one has been well packaged and easy to install. What's there to complain about? 5Great 4U Wall Bracket Used this panel bracket to mount in a closet so that I could wire the house for CAT6.This bracket was exactly what I was looking for when I was planning the wiring of the house. It currently has a TP-Link 24 Port switch, patch panel with a modem and router on top of the switch. The hinge proved very beneficial when working on the patch panel. As others have stated, adding a switch is very tight. I used longer screws with washers to help space it out a bit and a 90 angle power cord. 4good stuff so far so good-- NOTE!!!!! I bought a 16 port rack mount switch to mount on this--the rack isn't very deep, and the switch juuuuuuuust fit (depth wise)...and I mean just...for wires only it will be great--still looking for the right price on a patch panel. 5Works This mount works but make sure you are securing it to a stud or use quality drywall anchors. I understand its not designed to carry a lot of weight but the mounting holes are in the center of the bracket when they should be more toward the top and bottom edge to distrubute the weight better. The only time this could become an issue is if you are mounting it into drywall only. The use of a good quality screw in type drywall anchor is recommended. You may also need small washers. This mount includes the bolts to attach your patch panel, they are nice quality hex head bolts with philips. 4a good buy works as product ad says. would be great if they made these a little deeper to support a switch. 4Nice little rack Nice little rack. Don't be like me and completely derp out thinking you're gonna fit much of anything in it. Reviews and Q/A all mention the fact (as does the name) that this is meant for patch panels only. Depth is a problem with anything else.I can't fault the product for my being an idiot :) Like I said: Seems like a sturdy little rack and I'm 100% sure it'll do it's intended job really well. 54.9 Only docked for depth, but here's a solution ... I agree with the proior reviewer wanting to give 4.9. It really is rock solid, and the hinges are great. Like everyone mentioned, the depth is going to be an issue with most switches. I have successfully mounted the TENDA TEH2400M 24-Port switch in this rack in 1 of 2 ways. The first is using zip ties instead of screws, and a 90 degree or low profile power cord. The other was by using the lowest mount in the rack, then drilling a hole in the wall to match up to where the power cord would protrude. I have bought several, and I am buying another today. So I am a believer, but 10" of depth would standardize this rack, and in my opinion - make it perfect. 4Solid Installed this (4U version) on a piece of plywood I attached to the basement wall with furring strips and tapcons. The whole thing is rock solid. I have installed a 2U patch panel. As others have said, you need to provide your own wall anchors (I just used #10 wood screws) but it comes with screws for attaching equipment to the rack. I received 9 of those screws. I bought two different wrong screws until I found the correct one - #10-32 1/2". There are other reviews that suggest metric (tried M5/0.8 - no love) or 12-24 but I am 100% sure I have the right one now.I bought the Navepoint 6" deep rack shelf for this which is just a tad too big. I got 4x 1/2" spacers and 4x #10-32 3/4" machine screws which was enough to allow the shelf to fit.One suggestion - if you are going to use the hinge function frequently, get some #10-32 thumb screws for the non-hinged side. You have to undo that side before you can swing the rack equipment out. 5
