    Replacement for my Yi dashcam mount I got this to replace the 3M sticky mount that came with my Yi Dashcam. I wanted to be able to move the camera around. It doesn't say that it is exclusively for the Yi dashcam, so you may be able to use it with other dashcams.Update: In the item description, it says "......suitable for Transcend Car Video Recorder Series. Suction mount compatible with Transcend DrivePro 200 Car Video Recorder.". It doesn't say, but obviously, it works for the Yi Dash Cam. 5Doesn't work I would like to give it zero star. It keeps falling off during driving. I cleaned the suction cup and the glass carefully, but it didn't work. Surprising, I cannot return it, I was informed that this item isn't eligible for return, even though I just received it yesterday. Maybe I got a lemon as I saw quite good reviews on this one. So just a friendly reminder, you may waste your money by ordering this suction cup, which SUCKS so hard. 1Windshield Dashcam Mount A decent product. Just put the camera in the mount, clean the windshield where it will be mounted with dry paper towel, put a drop of water on the suction cup, spread the water around the cup with your finger, and mount it. It will eventually loosen, but that's to be expected with this type of mount. 4Great item at a great price. I have had my Transcend Dash Cam for over 2 years now and suction cup was no longer holding. The replacement is just what I needed. I remove my dash cam whenever I park the car in the sun for a few hours, so the camera doesn't get baked, and the suction cup mount gets a lot of use. I also drive in Florida where the dash gets pretty hot. Good price and just what I needed. 5This is a fine universal mount- it hasn't gotten real hot yet but ... Light, but it's holding a light camera, and it seems surprisingly solid once you've dialed in the position and tightened the knobs. 5Good Product! Works great, and small enough for the camera yet holds it securely 5Very good suction mount Bought this along with a DrivePro 100 for my daughter. A 2015 Christmas gift. So far it has been working great. She has only been using it for 2 months, but says it has not fallen off the windshield once during that time. She did say it will not stay affixed to the "matrix-patterned" sun shade at the top of the windshield. Falls off after 2-3 days, but this is a reasonable expectation. Whenever I purchase a dashcam of my own, I will have one of these mounts for it. 5Will probably never use the 'sticky' mount that came with the camera! This guy works really well - I bought it for my new camera for a vacation, but have used it for a couple of months now since on the car. It doesn't leave any residue like a glue/sticky mount would, and yet hasn't detached yet in sun, cold extremes (the car has gone from below freezing to over 80 degrees inside during the period I've owned it with no issues). I'd recommend to anyone who has the camera and needs a good mount. 5It sticks pretty good, only time will tell It's winter time and the cold isn't causing it to fall off the windshield,,,yet. GPS, radar detector, dash cams can usually come crashing down during a cold winters windshield, but so far this dash cam one has hung on well. The dashcam came with a sticky mount, but I prefer putting my dashcam in hiding at every parked stop, so I bought this separately for ease of use. Turns out the disconnect on the dashcam works pretty smoothly and I could've have just gone with the sticky tape. 5
