    No written instructions, adapter likely to be needed for connection to radio. The lack of written instructions was a major shortcoming, particularly given the connector. To be specific, if your radio has an SMA connection, you will need a TNC Female to SMA male (in most cases) adapter. The lack of information about the TNC connection has delayed installation of this antenna, so I can't speak for its utility at this point. 3Very good Super simple to install. Have not tested swr yet.Great deal, good antenna , worked through factory Nissan tint. 5Nice Anrenna I installed the mount between the top heater wires and the top of the rear window of our Nissan Frontier. The SWR was flat (did not even wiggle the needle) and was reported to be full quieting into a repeater 13 miles away over rough terrain. It was also reported to be full quieting on simplex to two radios two and three miles away over the same type of terrain. I believe we will like it much better than the magnet mount it replaced. It is a much neater install. It took about an hour to install the antenna and rout the antenna cable so it would not be in the way of the rear seat riders in the crew cab. 5Works through Ford F150 rear glass I bought this knowing it might not work on my tinted windows, but it works great on my 2018 Ford Raptor. VSWR was 1.5. I had to go with this sort of antenna because I park in parking structures often.You CAN also unscrew the antenna from the mount outside for going through car washes, etc.Finally, some people complained about no directions.
