    Five StarsThis thing is amazing for that the effect that we are all seeking as portrait photographers or cinematographers. 5The movie standard!One of the first of the modern diffusion filters, developed in the 80s I think. The lower strengths like this one are beautiful. I tested it out after cleaning it but it had such a film on it but it would not come off. Images and video I talk through it looked okay but I got so upset that I couldn't get it clean I just slammed it on the ground. That's what I think this filters worth it's garbage. 1Old School DiffusionThis is my favorite diffusion filter. This regular pro mist 1/4 grade is just subtle enough to bloom the highlights in the image and produce a crisp vintage look. 1/2 starts to look like 80's prom portraits, and heavier grades like 1-3 create a thick, foggy, fantasy look. Unlike the black pro mists, the regular pro mists do not lift the blacks; they are not low contrast filters. Use this filter if you want your images to have a natural looking glow without seeming foggy or losing focus. 5
