It was easy to install and works great. It is a bit lighter in weight that I expected, but seems sturdy enough and certainly worth the price. 4This is a SURFACE mount doorbell button!Great looking doorbell, but nowhere in the description does it say it's flush mount. If you're replacing a surface mount doorbell be prepared to chisel out a hole a little larger than a dime in order to make this doorbell work (you can drill a hole with ease but how do you drill a hole with wires running through it!?)! Frustrating to find out after already having purchased and opened. 3Installation was simple and the pineapple design fits in very nicely with my Florida homeI replaced an ugly old unlighted, plastic doorbell press with this item. Installation was simple and the pineapple design fits in very nicely with my Florida home. The push is well lighted and is great for visitors coming to my home after dark.It's too early to know how the finish will hold up to Florida sun, heat and humidity but it's cheap enough to replace as needed.Recommended. 5Quality door bell that's all solid brassSolid brass decorative surround, screws, and electrical connections. Replaceable bell button, is well lit and only requires a lite touch to work. As others mentioned, you may have to enlarge the hole in your door frame to mount this flush. I used a small wood chisel and held the existing wire towards the opposite side while I chiseled away...took extra 5 min. 5Beautiful Quality BrassExcellent quality and goes so very well with the the outdoor mats that have pineapple motif we have at the entrances for our tropically landscaped yard repleat with pool, palapa adorned built in barbecue, fireplace and fire pit. 5Heavy Duty + Rich LookingVery Very Nice "Solid Brass" door bell ringer button faceplate. I had to enlarge the area where the back fits so it set flush against the brick, but that only took 30 seconds, all in all its a nice addition to our new front door and it is really rich looking to boot. 5Beautiful, decorative doorbellBeautiful, decorative doorbell. I had previously purchased this exact same doorbell many years ago at Lowe's. It stopped working, but I loved it so much I wanted to replace it with the exact same one. The finish on my old one look just pretty today I replaced it as when I bought it. I have my house pressure washed a couple times a year and I think the water may have messed up the electronics of the old doorbell. I plan to try to cover the new doorbell with painters tape in the future before pressure washing. Would definitely purchase this again in the future. 5Good looking and good qualityGood looking and good quality. However, the installation was not easy because the holes for mounting were closer together than the standard doorbell it replaced plus difficult to increase the size of the hole without damaging existing wiring. 4PerfectionJust adorable! This is such a unique looking doorbell! Nothing in the stores compairs to this. It's not huge but is a very nice size. Very bright, shiny gold. Good weight. The color of the light is kind of a glowing orange-ish color. Yes, there is a protruding back on it, but luckily our old button had the same thing so we had to make no adjustments. Installed in minutes! 5
