My guys were going through the radios putting them in their tool bag and they were getting banged up. They would clip them to their side pocket or put them in their pockets where they couldn't hear the radio when you called them. This set up protects the radios and the Mic is closer to their ear. On a job site where its loud the guys can communicate better than before. So far not 1 radio or Mic has broke. You cant beat it for the price.
