    WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY FOR ME.. FIRST OF ALL, AS AN ELECTRICIAN BY TRADE, I WASN'T EXPECTING MUCH, AND ALONG THAT LINE I SUPPOSE I WASN'T DISAPPOINTED. I had some bonus points to use up, so I figured if I could make use of any of it, it might be worthwhile to have if just to avoid the hassle of getting the individual pieces together to wire in this new equipment, a powered sub that I had acquired. I did use the fuseholder after going out and buying a cheap metric allen wrench to fit, so add that to the deal. I also used the signal wire, since that didn't require being heavy-duty. Once again, I have access to far better material which is what I ended up using, so most of it wound up in a spare parts pile. Just to be fair, they do give you everything you need, and the quality of it is probably good enough for most customers. It does seem to be made well. There's really nothing flimsy about it, although I don't have any means of comparing it to similar kits by others. If I didn't have other stuff available to me, I'm sure it would have been adequate to get the job done, but honestly, if I hadn't gotten it the way I did, I would have returned it. Suffice to say it is just perhaps a quality version of a cheap kit.. 3Poor quality RCA cable. Installed speakers, 5 channel amp. The RCA cable supplied is total garbage! When I turned ch 1,2 gain about midway the speakers whine with engine revs. I ran my rear/sw with RockfordFosgate cables and zero noise. 1Not cheap at all! 5000 watt kit. 0 gauge. This is the 5000watt kit. 0 gauge set. Look at the size difference In the two speaker cables! Walmart vs surge?? I haven t got the full kit installed yet. But the wire feels super super clean and not cheap at all. I will be buying again. Just by having the surge speaker wires In. They kick way harder. And more powerful. Walmart s being thrown out the door. Welcome home surge. 5Good kit, CCA, works good, quality is good. This is a good kit for the price and it works good. There were no issues with installation and everything included was useful. The quality of the wires is good. The only wire that s questionable is the remote wire, but this wire doesn t need to be great in order to work, it s just a remote turn on wire. The rest of the wires look good and seem to be around the stated 8 gauge. The best part of this kit is the fuse holder, it is good quality and better than those circular shape in line generic fuses. I would recommend for anyone with a decent system setup. 5Overall great value Value for price was great. Only knock, resulting in 4 of 5 stars, is that the wire strands in the 8ga cables are very fine, so you will want to 'tin' the exposed ends with solder prior to crimping to avoid the strands from breaking loose in the connections. 44G kit in a Saab 9-5 keeps wires hidden n nothing dims from the system. Bought the 4g kit and everything looks and sounds great!! The pic I posted is of the amp which shows how when set up it comes with everything so all the wires are hidden. Nothing dims as far as my lights but if you do the research isn t just cuz of the kit?? My advice is get your amp professionally installed and it will hide the wires and make the system look and sound 100% 5Hairlike aluminum strands - difficult to tin I was disappointed that this kit did not include a second set of RCA cables. The product description was not very clear on included items and lengths - searching through reviews for multiple kits got me confused. Order came quickly and I started my install.The quality of the power and ground cables are really what we are after with these klts. Thus three stars. The fuse block is solid but the chrome plating makes it look plastic - I don't think it is. Tinning the cables ( adding solder to hold the hairlike strands together) quickly indicated that they are certainly CCA - Copper Clad Aluminum - but also with VERY thin copper. The very thin CCA strands help make the cable very flexible - perhaps to a fault. The cables are very light - not much copper content. The friability of the conductor when tinning was frustrating. Flux helped some. 3Seems like decent quality Seems like decent quality. Have yet to finish installing since the ground cable was only 2 feet instead of 3 as it says. Will require a different placement for everything. Also missing a screw, only came with 2 instead of the 3 as it says. I guess they pack 1 screw for each foot, lol. Definitely disappointing to not get what I thought I was getting. I am sure they would send a replacement, but who has time for that? Not me, I will have found another way by the time they could even respond. Green cables look good, and seem like good quality, so it's not all bad. 3Not even close to what is promised. First the picture clearly shows a large ring terminal on both the power and ground wires.On the power wire, there is one, although with the insulator NOT covering the exposed wire and mostly over the ring terminal. That I could work with.The ground cable, is NOT three feet long as indicated, it's TWO FEET long. Further, it also shows a ring terminal in the picture. Nope, it has some weird blade with two small screw holes in it. Not at all what was indicated and too short to be useful.Other than these obvious issues, the quality appears OK but there aren't even any ring terminals in the assortment of stuff in the baggy with it. Otherwise I could just make a ground out of spare power wire. Nope, just a bunch of useless cheap U connectors etc.Really sad given what was promised here. 1An extra foot can make all the difference The wires in this kit are awesome.High strand counts and very flexible.I installed a powered sub in a conversion van, and needed very long cables, most kits with longer than 17 mostly contain very cheap wires.The RCA s are normal good wire.The power wire is awesome quality.The ground wire is great!I recommend this kit to anyone for every amp! 5
