    Top notch usabilityAs everyone knows, you pay more for the brand; however, generally you will be happy with the product's functions for years. That is how I look at this tool. It's kind of a hassle to take off the hook, but They make some without hooks too, 5NICE TOOLIt's a beautiful tool - just what you'd expect from Starrett. 5Good prodeceIt is a accrued and easy to read 5Nice Rule, But...Nice overall... however, the current Starrett website lists this rule as 1.00" wide.The one received measures 0.9868", or 0.0132" too narrow.My decades old unit (which disappeared) came in at exactly 1.00", and was great for a spacing operation we regularly do...Sadly, being out of spec earned the product a two star demerit right off the bat.Review posted 2/15/2019, and will be updated should experience warrant. 3Great precision productIf you want quality then buy Starrett !!!! 5High Quality!Typical high quality Starrett tool.
