Great quality! This shower arm was just what I was looking for! Sticks out far enough and at a right angle from the wall so the shower caddy won't get in the way of the giant Speakman shower head. Solid brass construction and chrome looks and feels high quality. Remember to slide flange on before attaching arm to wall. It locks on with a small allen screw on bottom. Only downer is the price, but that being said, you get what you pay for and this is quality stuff. 4The ultimate shower arm? Fantastic quality that matches perfectly with the classic Speakman shower hand. The quality of this shower arm is head and shoulders above the standard arm you get even from high end manufacturers. Very pleased. Another nice "feature": The drop from wall to head is only 1 1/2" which is much less than most shower arms. This can give some much needed extra headroom - not a lot, but just enough to make a difference. 5HEAVY, High quality and flawless finish. Yes this is expensive, but it IS really very high quality. Heavy, solid and a nice touch with the sharper angle on it (verses the standard hardware store curved lightweight tubes). The finish is impeccable, and did I mention this was HEAVY!? It probably weight twice the cheapo curved one that I replaced this with. Pairs very nicely with the also heavy and attractive Speakman showerhead. Note that in my picture I replaced the escutcheon with a square one to better fit the aesthetic of both the showerhead and the arm. 5Not a big-box fitting!!!! It is difficult to become overly enthused about a plumbing fitting. However, this shower arm is a work of industrial art. Its material, machining, and finish are all exemplary. The wall thickness of the tubing is several times that of a normal shower arm; it looks and feels as if it should last forever. This fitting would be right at home in the captain's cabin of an Iowa class BB!This reviewer would purchase it again without hesitation. 5Tank of a shower arm! Excellent! I got this to go with my Speakman S-2252 Signature Icon Anystream shower head which I love. This is the best shower arm I have ever seen. (yes that includes Kohler and the rest!) It's heavy,... solid brass and should last forever. Perfect- no scratches, beautiful and shiny. I'm sure it will outlast me! 5Substantial and High Quality This is a solid product and feels much more substantial than most of the products at large home stores. If you spend the money to purchase an expensive Speakman showerhead (many of which are rated highly in Consumer Reports), make sure you purchase this shower arm to compliment the showerhead's quality. Installation was straight-forward and easy. 5Expensive, but great. I really like this shower arm! 100% matte black, even the threads. The bend is a sharper angle which is unique and looks great! Matte black is true matte. Expensive but great.Previous to this i bought 2 other major brands from amazon and returned both for various reasons (not all black, the black was more eggshell than matte)This matches my kohler awaken shower head perfectly! 5Good Thick quality pipe on both ends. Just like another reviewer said this is a thicker pipe with thickness the same on both ends of the pipe. Uses a screw and provided allen wrench to hold the collar in place. Collar should be put on end to be screwed into wall first cause you will not be able to slide it pass the bend in the pipe. 5Missing parts from this seller Didn't send me the flange, just the arm. Other than that, its gorgeous but disappointed I paid for both and only got one. Was not listed in the description as missing parts. 1Problem solved I read the reviews on this shower arm and was a bit apprehensive on the price point, but after two failed arms that never sealed...this was the one I needed. Got the arm installed less than 10 minutes with Teflon rape and liquid plumbing sealer, turned on the water...and to my discover, no leaks. A solid built unit that is worth the price. 5
