    Five StarsExcellent product! 5Five StarsInstalled and works as advertised. 5Nice electrical box but with a few flaws....I needed to replace the quick disconnect electrical box for my HVAC system but also wanted to have an electrical outlet on that side of the house where none existed....and this product easily met both of those needs. What I don't like about it is that the bottom of the front cover is open which unnecessarily leaves the electrical outlet exposed to moisture. It also creates a nice big cavity for insects like wasps to build their nests up inside there to the surprise of anyone who may open the cover. I cut a piece of black packaging foam to help seal the bottom opening and it works well. The paint is also missing on the bottom part of the front cover which will most likely rust, so their paint quality process needs improvement. It's a decent product, however I expected better design and build quality from Siemens which is why I only rated it three stars. 3Missing contact on pulloutItem came damaged One contact from the pullout was missing I did not return it however because I am only using it for 120 V 4Worked for my useBe careful undoing the screws inside this box. It felt like I was going to break the lugs getting the screw loose, so I held the lugs in place with a pair of pliers while I broke them free, good god why would you send screws that tight from the factory. I was wiring a 25 amp mini split heat pump/ac and this disconnect is 30 amps. I really didn't want to run a separate wire for these plugins. Yes I'm lazy and I hate feeding wire through conduit. I did it the easy way. I have 10 gague 4 wire 220 ran to this disconnect. 2 hots, ground are used for the heat pump. I used the white that was unused and reused one of the hots for my plug-ins. If I burn to death in the middle of the night at least I won't have to pay any more taxes. I figure I have an extra 5 amps capacity in the wire that will never be used, so as long as I don't exceed 5 amps while running the heat pump I'm good. If my math is correct 600 watts and that should be plenty for my use. That's how I wired it, nope no permits. 5I had a Manufacturing Assembly Error with this disconnect deviceI received this Siemens WF2030GFCI 30 Amp Fusible AC Disconnect with GFI Receptacle box last week. After installing the unit measurements were made to insure proper voltage was on the load side of unit once fuses were installed. After a few minutes and finding that 220 Volts was not on the output, load side, the fused disconnect holder was removed. It was discovered that the blade on one side of the fuse holder was 180 degrees out from what it should be. The problem was easily fixed by removing the phillips screw holding the bottom fuse blade and reversing it. Once done and fuses were reinserted into the fuse holders, the output voltage was now measured at 220Volts. Problem fixed!Conclusions1) This problem was a manufacturing assembly error.2) This was an ease fix by reversing the output blade on the fuse holder to its correct position.3) Lastly, this error may not be easily seen by an inexperienced person installing one of these disconnect switches. Beware this problem may be in other Siemens WF2030GFCI 30 Amp Fusible AC Disconnects shipped to other people and not just a one-off error. 3Well built and easy to installWell built, no sharp edges inside and no problems installing. Fuse holder takes both standard types of fuses, which saved me a trip to the hardware store 5
