    functionable it is a bright strobe, it lights up the back yard when the alarm is tripped. 5Works very well. Does exactly as it's supposed to do. Flash is bright. Those that can't find a bulb aren't looking very hard. The unit uses a standard xenon bulb used in most strobes. The wide range of voltage input makes this ideal four many uses. The enclosure isn't waterproof but it wouldn't take much to prevent water damage if used out doors. 5Works great with a Dakota Alert driveway alarm. I connected this strobe to the terminal on a Dakota Alert driveway alarm receiver. It works great. Enough said 5Arrived dead, disappointing Mine arrived DOA, never worked at all. Tried several different power sources, different arrangements and never got it to work. 1Good Value Nice unit at a very reasonable price it should work well with my new car alarm system. 5Works great on my boat when fishing at night Works great on my boat when fishing at night.Set up on a momentary contact push button switch I does get the attention of pleasure boaters running at high speed at night. 5Nicely constructed Nice construction, very bright during alarm test, screws are under cover of dome so less susceptible to corrosion unlike the one it replaced. 5OK but Performed as expected so far. The problem right now, the unit is getting dimmer. Upon unscrewing the plastic cap, I found another thin plastic shield over the flash tube. This shield is turning brown from heat contacting the flash tube and diminishing it's output. Why the plastic bubble over the tube (safety)? Removed this, and it is working bright again. 3I would buy this time again I love this product. I use it on top of my vehicle 5Looks Good Looks Good. Ain't hooked it up yet. Appears to be a good one though. 3
