    An Excellent Case for Half the Price of a PelicanThis is an excellently constructed case that also happens to be very attractive. I had looked at the Pelican and Hardigg cases to store and carry my telescope lens and other field equipment. However, I found these cases to be too expensive. The Seahorse, is not a compromise, but a comparable case for half the cost. I use it for my Ableton Push controller and cables. It fits them perfectly. The case is definitely on par with Pelican. The only thing I dislike about the case is the foam. It's rather difficult to get a nice clean cut so it ends up rather messy looking, even with a razor blade. At the bottom of the foam piece a whole section of pull n pluck squares were missing and it was very difficult to cut. If you're a perfectionist like me this is rather disappointing, if not you won't care. Still giving it 5 stars as it is an outstanding case and half the price of the equivalent Pelican case. 5Great customizable case!Really sturdy case, but not too heavy. I really like how the foam is scored to allow you to customize the size of the cutout. Take your time as it is hard to get a straight cut. I recommend using a box cutter or sharp knife with a ruler. I may purchase a few more of these for my other gear.Side note, somebody thought I was a news camera man because this thing looks so official! 5Excellent quality as usual!!I have a couple of Seahorse cases that house electronic equipment. I wanted to get one for use as a gun case to go to the range. This was an excellent choice. The customizable foam is great to work with and quick to comform to any shape. Case is well made and seals extremely well. Works great as a gun case and is big enough that I will get one for my laptop since I'm a little hard on it. This will protect it for sure!! You won't be disappointed at all!! 5Great for carrying Ableton PushThis is just about the perfect case for an Ableton Push, and it's right in the sweet spot, price-wise. It kept my Push in great shape on the road. 5Steak quality on a hamburger budgetThis is my second case in four years, after losing the last one. These cases stand up to significant amounts of abuse. They're difficult to scratch, impossible to dent, and I can't imagine what would crush it. Seahorse is absolutely on par with Pelican for build quality.I purchased this to hold a Kinesis Advantage keyboard, a very unusually shaped item. The perforated foam inserts are very easy to work with. A butter knife and a ruler is all you need to make custom inserts for whatever you need to protect.It's also waterproof -- really waterproof. Full immersion is no problem. 5GREAT for 15" laptop + charger/cablesSeahorse makes great cases !!!!I have 4 of them in different sizes. I got this for my 15" laptop and it fits wonderfully. I plucked out the foam and then cut the cutout in half to pad the bottom and top of the laptop. I bought this to hold some penetration testing equipment and it doesn't disappoint. I will be ordering a second one to hold all of my forensics and incident response equipment. The handles are not as nice as some of the competitors but the rest of the product works well for me. The product was smaller tan I expected and if you put a 15.6" laptop and power brick in it it would be full. I may try the deeper model for the next set of gear. 5Excellent protection at a very reasonable priceI needed a protective case for an expensive match air pistol, and this Seahorse case was the perfect size. The price was right, too. There's enough room for the pistol, tools, charging adapter, and a tin of pellets. The pre-cut foam is easy to cut or separate with fingers and can be fit to your gun or precision equipment without any special tools 5Great caseGreat case, even a better deal through Amazon Warehouse. I purchased this through the "amazon warehouse" and it was described as 'having scuffs on the top and/or sides" it came in the original box, with the original tags, I cannot find a mark on it and it cost almost 1/2 of the normal price. The plastic is not as rigid or as thick as a pelican case, but it is a great case for the cost. the foam is nice and can easily be made to customize the case for any needs. 4
