Customer Reviews

A Really Good Deal from Micro-Tools The one unusual thing about this set of tweezers is that the particular tools I got have no markings on them at all - no nation of origin, not even a 'Stainless' stamping. Otherwise, they are the same basic-quality Pakistani or Indian tools that are commonly available. What is really worth your attention is the excellent price from Micro-Tools. I have paid more for a single pair of comparable-quality tweezers than Micro-Tools charged me for this entire set of six! If they maintain this level of highly competitive pricing, I strongly recommend them as a source for hobby-quality tools. Nice work, Micro-Tools! 5The quality of the product These are perfect for those who deal in small precious gemstones. 5A pair of tweezers for every need. A pair of tweezers for every need. I never realized how often I could and would use a locking feature. When I saw these, the locking feature enticed me to purchase these, I am glad I did. The 5 prong pick-up tool has advantages over 4 prong tools, it provides a stronger grip.I have a lot of other tweezers, but these are the ones I carry with me. 4great products and they all come in one handy package. hello, unless you need an extra long set of tweezers (Fiber Soft Tip Tweezers Non Marring Beads Gemstones 10-1/4" Jewelry Making Craft) this set is the last set you will ever need. it has every tweezer you will need for every project. it even has a peek a boo claw that comes out of a pencil looking tool. very clever. they are all built quite well and makes grabbing things pleasurable. flatheads, pinpoints, claw, etc. a variety of uses from this quality kit. yrmv great products and they all come in one handy package. 5High quality at a reasonable price A very nice assortment of tweezers. They appear to be very good quality. The tips are nicely ground and properly aligned. These are just what I need to keep a grip on my gemstones when I'm working with them because they have a textured inner surface toward the tips. I look forward to using them in my jewelry business. 5Actually really very cool. Kinda funny how many more expensive Actually really very cool. Kinda funny how many more expensive, odd tools that I have, yet these in particular, I get everyone asking about. Especially the rad little claw-picker-upper (far right). And as a side note - though I'm sure most people looking at these are interested in their use in jewelry. Sure, they're great for that - but also with lock picking, etc... 5Lots of options I got this to try and repair my smart phone. My attempts did not work, but that was due to the ignorance of the operator, not the product. This gives lots of options for size of tweezers and I can see where it would come in handy for any situation where you need to grip something tiny. 4HANDY TOOLS Quite handy tools, and as with almost every review, the cheap, plastic bag they came in, (which I have replaced with something much better) was ripped. As well, I wonder why the tools aren't offered from an American company? 4easily adaptable to glass bead making These Indian-made diamond tweezers are all fine pointed and appear to be made of stainless steel. The set includes five tweezers and one claw style grabber. One of the tweezers has a scoop on the tail. They appear to be easily adaptable to lampworked glass bead making. The scoop appears to be sturdy enough to be used to dribble frit onto a hot bead but thin enough to be deliberately broken off and discarded if not needed. All these tweezers have straight sharp points and two have locks attached by tiny screws. Locks can be removed and discarded if not needed. One of the tweezers in my set had slightly uneven sized tips, but the tips still met well.I haven't melted the tips off any of them yet but presume that will happen in a matter of time. Accidentally melted tips is why I buy cheap steel tweezers rather than expensive ones. But the melting potential sometimes is advantageous. Sometimes a beadmaker needs a tweezer which has a tip which is bent in a certain angle or is curved to cup a certain sized piece of millifiori or two hold two pieces of stringer a few millimeters apart or for some other reason. So one can heat the steel to a red head and shape it as needed on the marvering pad or on an appropriately sized graphite rod or with another pair of tweezers. Think of that process as a sort of microscopic blacksmithing. It is fairly easy for anyone who is already used to shaping hot glass. 5What a wasted of money These are a very cheap products, I got mine the 5 prong diamond pick up extremely uneven and could not pick up properly. What a wasted of money! 1
