It's much better than the old small rubber band method but the cost is a bit much for what it is...however in the world of AV equipment, we're used to being overcharged. I use it on top of my GH5 XLR audio which sits on top of my GH5 with a little of the "wiggle" that comes with it and I've seen this as 80-90% effective eliminated noise from movement...a more solid mount will likely give you what you're looking for.4GoodWell made, works well but overpriced.4Nice product, fast shippingNice product, fast shipping5Mic fits beautifully in the mount and the shock absorbotion seems greatI got this to use instead of the one that came with my camera since my Rode NTG-2 didn t fit that mount, it was way too big. Only this I ve noticed so far is that this mount shifts a little in my camera shoe but the mic doesn t seem to notice.5
