    Great Work ShirtI live in Texas and the heat certainly climbs in the summer. The construction of these shirts wicks away the sweat better than any work shirt I have owned and keeps me cool; Much more so than a cotton T-Shirt has in the past. They are very durable and VERY visible at night (as they should be). 30+ washes and the reflectiv strips are still bright.Size!!!To put it simply; they are not relaxed fit. They have super-sized their sizing. I purchased these same shirts previously about two years ago. They fit perfect. I purchased new ones about 2 months ago, figuring I'd open them when these finally wore out. A month after I purchased them ( no longer returnable), I finally needed to open them up- they were a full 1 1/2 inch longer in the sleeves, length and chest. I am swimming in them. So disappointed. If anyone wants mine (only one is open) I'll sell you them for five bucks less than these guys.1Great shirt for someone who works hard and sweats harder!The last time I bought this shirt was August 21, 2016. I'm still wearing the same 5 shirts I bought so these are well made (at least mine is). It's very cool, dries fast, and is lightweight. It was able to not build up to much odor through out there but it sort of starting to hold on to odor. The reflective strips started losing its reflection but it has been 3 years.TLDR - This is a very great shirt for construction and not wearing a vest instead. After nearly 3 years I might replace buy new ones because the old ones are starting to hold odor and the reflective material starting to dull. Bets wearing a t shirt that wont last as long.5Nice Shirt except the pocketI was a little surprised when I got this that the pocket wash sewn into the armpit, well as close as you can get to the armpit. For me the pocket was a bonus, I usually clip my pen on my collar because I'm so used to not having one. It's not a deal breaker but if your are going to sew it there, IMO you might as well leave it off. Other than that I hope I can get this approved to wear in lieu of a shirt and a vest in these hot temps! It feels like a vest can add 10 degrees. If the break in the reflective material at the pocket is an issue then I'll rip it off and problem solved. Fingers crossed, we'll have to see if it passes company standards in lieu of a vest.3Favorite work shirts Husband found 1 of these shirts at a local work gear place last season and had to find them online this year because they're his favorite for work. He works on a road crew doing paving or pipe-work and says they're a lot easier than wearing a high-vis vest on top & they're a pretty light shirt. Fair warning though, my hubby has a pretty flat stomach, but the reflective band that goes across the stomach is... not tight, but not stretchy either... so just be aware that if you have a not-so-flat stomach, it might affect you (I do not know this, though). 5Safety Vests Suck In Extreme Humidity. These Don'tIn the summer humidity bothers me a lot more than just the heat. I'm a heavy sweater and by 730 in the morning my cotton work t-shirts weigh a ton from being soaked and my safety vest blocking the breeze from doing its job. I wear safety striped suspenders but my job says there's not enough reflective coverage because they don't cover the sides of me at all. The bright neon yellow is acceptable but not the amount of reflectivity so back to the vests. I tried wicking shirts but with a vest on its like wearing a double layer of saran wrap. These are not as "cooling" as my Champion Duo Dry mountain biking shirts but they're a whole lot better than cotton/vest combo that I was wearing daily. Only a slight breeze makes me feel chilly with the Duo Dry vs a slight breeze feels nicer than nothing but not "awww man that feels nice" chilled. It's s lot better than nothing though and they don't get heavy as it gets more wet from sweat.Time will tell if they'll stand up to the abuse I put my clothes through at work. Most of these wicking nylon shirts pill like crazy when handling lumber, concrete blocks, etc that rub against them. Time will tell how long the reflective stripes last, again due to my handling of everything you can think of that gets pulled and loaded at a building materials yard and mill area.I normally wear a XX shirt for work because I like them baggy for air movement. This XX isn't snug but is not baggy in the belly area where the stripe crosses. If you don't have an extremely large belly but your shoulders and chest are why you wear a XX these will be fine but if your stomach is disproportionate to the rest of your upper body, like me,, go a size up unless you like extremely baggy in the belly, to which I'd suggest 2 sizes up. I'm still shedding some winter weight so I ordered more in the XX because it's not uncomfortable just different.If these last a summer I'll believe they were a great value at the price they're asking.5I am pleased and very happy with this shirt as is my ... At a rather advanced age of 78 yo. I started walking for exercise. Since I live in the desert Southwest where the summer temps reach 120 F I walk early in the mornings when it has cooled to the low 80s just before dawn. I bought this shirt to be visible to the drivers who are going to work or to the job site at 6 or 7 AM. The first set of head lights that hit the shirt made the thing almost glow. I am pleased and very happy with this shirt as is my wife. (G) 5Laborer Approved I bought these for my husband so he wouldn't have to wear a safety vest over a work short. This keeps him much cooler and more comfortable at work. We have already washed them a dozen times (at least) and they've held up perfectly. The only reason they didn't get a 5 star review is that they are a tad itchy. 4I'm happy so farI just received these yesterday and I was surprised at the quality for the price. I don't know if they'll hold up after multiple washes, but they seem like they'll hold up. Very light weight and much better than wearing a safety vest on a jobsite. I ordered a size up like a lot of people suggested in reviews and I'm glad i did. The reflective tape has no give to it and if the shirt fits tight it will squeeze your stomach. The neck is a tighter fit, so if you like it loose, you won't like these shirts. I personally prefer a neck that isn't falling down all the time. Overall, so far I'm really happy with these shirts. I'll update my review if they don't hold up5Bright but transparentThese are nice for my guys to wear while doing roadside assistance during the hot summer months. They are lightweight, bright and reflective. The only thing I don't really like about them is that they are very transparent. They are so thin that you can see nipples through them. You are forced to wear an undershirt beneath them.3Beats wearing a stupid vest, especially when you're using a torch on a hot day with 90% humidity.These things are great. Beats the heck out of wearing a stupid vest, especially when it's hot outside. And they actually surprised me on how well they have held up to the washer/dryer considering how cheap they are. Personally, I don't dry them, due to their wicking fabric they are relatively dry after a decent spin cycle and if you just throw them over a chair for an hour or so they will be ready to work. My family has thrown them in the dryer several times tho, (despite me asking them to avoid drying them) and as I stated above, they have yet to tear up or even loose any of the reflective material (which is the first thing I expected to go).I'd recommend you do two things:1- have your sister call me, she's hot.2- buy these.5Worked great for my son who works in highway constructionbought this for my son who works in highway construction. He usually wears a vest on top of his clothing but with the heat wave we have been experiencing this year, I thought this would be better for him since it would just be a single layer of clothing and it is made with a wicking material to help keep him dry when sweating. He usually takes a large but because of some reviews on here, I ordered him a large and an extra large to be safe. For my son, who is 25 and about 175 lbs and 5'9" average build, not heavy or thin -- the large fit him fine. He said the shirt did the job and he was very happy to have it not have to wear the vest in the heat.5This shirt isn't in itself a perfect shirt. It's a bit sheer, the reflective parts do not stretch, and you can only clean it so many times before the band starts to flake off, but I'm still giving this a 5 star because my god I have been searching for this.I work at a gas station where we have to wear black polos outside. Even during summer. It's hell.Last year they gave the crew that was there 1 of these shirts. There was no way to order more and we only got the 1. We could wear this, or the black polo.Now, we have new people in our crew, and our old ones are falling apart, and the summer is creeping in.After finding this listing, my coworkers were waiting for news on if it was legit or not. it had to look EXACTLY like our issued High-Viz shirts or we wouldnt be able to use it. Now that I can confirm it's the right shirt, I'm going to pass around this listing or start placing orders for my coworkers and make sure they know to write it off in their taxes as a work expense.Ill defintely order a few more of these for myself to keep in storage for the future.5but the stripe has no stretch and it's more comfortable if you get a size larger than you normally ... The size might be fairly accurate in a non-reflective version of this shirt, but the stripe has no stretch and it's more comfortable if you get a size larger than you normally would. The neck opening is centered instead of being set slightly forward, so the neckline will be high in the front and the pocket is nearly in your armpit instead of out on your chest. 3
