    Works like a Charm Once Wired Correctly to Power Source Only thing I'd like to note is that there is no way to turn it off and have it stay off unless the power source is completely cut off. Unit would turn back on my itself if I walked by the boat with my phone in my pocket (would pick up on bluetooth signal and then turn unit back on)..... thus draining my boat battery! 5Pyle on a Harley I very much like this radio I bought it to replace a kenwood that had gotten water damage. I use it on my 2000 Harley electra glide, so it get wet from time to time. so far I havnt had any issue with the pyle. its a good little radio for the price and the sound is pretty good. I think it would be better if I got some better speakers. my bike has drag pipes on it so needles to say it is loud so the radio has to be equally loud and this one does the trick I'm still able to here my music at 60 mph going down the road. one thing I did do when I installed this one is I used some thin plastic and put on top of the radio inside the fairing. 5Pyle of crap Don t waste your money with this head unit. It s cheap and frankly it feels cheap. The unit weighs less then an apple... when it s on it gets really hot for some reason, to the point where you can t touch the back of it. The sound quality is terrible ( I even bought a pair of marine Lanzar speakers for it) you can barely even hear any sound. It s a POS and I was better off spending the money on a better unit. 1Not good, but ok Just a quick review, this stereo is your bottom of the line cheap China stereo deck with upgraded functions. It will play cd's, aux in, SD card, usb, and will connect via Bluetooth to play media through your devices. It will also answer phone calls and has a built in microphone.To me, it doesn't matter how many ways it can play music, unless it plays it well and sounds good.The player states it puts out 75watts x 4 channels, but on arrival, the box has a sticker on it that says "75 watts x 4, but if you peel the sticker off it says 25 watts x 4 printed on the box. I referenced PYLE'S website to confirm, and Pyle states that that model puts out 25 watts x 4.Not sure how it would work with an amp, but I would not buy another Pyle. I'm going to stick with Alpine, kenwood, pioneer, jvc. I've had all these in the past and never been let down. 2Not a proper single din size. I actually bought this twice. once for my motorcycle, and once for my car. Originally I thought my motorcycles fairing just wasn't cut out large enough. dremeled it and made it fit. it's a great stereo for the money, so I bought a second one. Now installing it in my car with a metra radio kit is becoming a real hassle sadly. Just tons of modification to make it fit as it is too tall and too wide to fit the standard sized bezel. 4Discontinued, damaged and stuck with item Purchased the radio and when we had the boat ready to install it, did not work, we couldn't return or exchange because the item is discontinued...wondering if this happened because the radio had other complaints 1Great stereo for the price Great stereo for the price. I've learn though that without a distortion devise in line with the power wire it picks up on motor noise so it can't be used with out one when the motor is running. Apparently this is normal though with all automotive and marine stereos. This was the first stereo I've ever installed and did not know that. My friend who has installed many stereos told me this when he heard it. He knew exactly what the problem was. 5It powers on, it makes music. What else were you expecting? Installed it in my boat to replace broken OEM stereo. It works. Install was easy, had to splice a lot of wires for harness as is always the case with boats, but they used the standard colors so it was easy just time consuming. Kind of curious how long it lasts. My boat has a splash container that goes over radio location it to minimize wetness. I almost want to buy a spare. If it lasts 2 years I could easily swap it without changing out harness. The cheapest no name brand at local marine store was 1.5x the price, the cheapest name brand was 3x the price. So let's see how long it lasts :) 4Simple Installation and very user friendly I have had a PYLE radio on my boat for 10 years. I choose the model without a cd player due to the rough water conditions I am usually in. The last Pyle radio I had lasted 10 years and Is actually still working. I replaced it with a BT model so I wouldn t have to continue to deal with a wire getting tangled trying to play music from my phone while driving the boat. I have not used this new radio that much yet but so far it s perfect. The BT connection was very user friendly, simply scroll through the menu to BT and it s immediately pairs with your phone. The 300w amp is plenty of power to play the music loud enough while at cruising speeds! Love Love Love this company and the amazing products they offer and the best prices you will find! Keep up the great work PYLE USA! Thank You 5Awesome marine receiver! Great value - Highly Recommend! Replaced the 10 year old JVC in my Chaparral deck boat with this unit. I was looking for something with Bluetooth support (for pairing my iPhone 7 to play music and make/receive calls) and did not need CD. The specs were just what I needed. I must admit, I was a little skeptical purchasing this unit and not a much for expensive name brand (Sony/Kenwood, etc) - but for the price, and based on the other positive reviews, I went for it. Let me say - I am super impressed and very happy with the purchase! The quality is exceptional. Pairing with my iPhone was super easy - and I am happy to be able to stream music from my phone now! The receiver sounded much cleaner and louder than the JVC it replaced with the original boats speakers (also JVC). However, I went ahead and replaced the speakers just after installing the new receiver with Pyle PLMR605W, and now it sounds ever better! This deal still seems too good to be true. Thanks Pyle! 5
