    Excellent Product at Unbeatable Price!The Century Wire 100ft 10/3 Tri-Cap Cord is an excellent product at an excellent price ($64.97 with Free Shipping). I have ran my Poulan Pro 400E 18-Inch 4.0 HP Electric Chain Saw at distances up to 225 feet (200 feet with Century Wire 100ft 10/3 and the last 25 feet with Coleman Cable 02587 25-Feet 12/3-Wire Gauge Vinyl Outdoor Extension Cord With Lighted End, Yellow with no evidence of overheating or loss of power. Don't get me wrong I like Coleman cable products, but the diameter of the Century Wire 100ft 10/3 is at least 50 - 75 % greater.The importance of adequate electrical equipment is a common topic of electric chainsaw users. To paraphrase one commenter:"I have read most of the complaints of "smoking motors", black soot on the motor housing" "The saw quit after a half hour" and on and on. I also have a Poulan Pro 400E electric chain saw and am able to say that after trimming limbs 8 to 11 inches on 5 oak trees, cutting them up for disposal and then about 4 months after that, I went through the same scenario at my son's house and ran the saw almost constantly of 2 1/2 hours. Now here is what I am seeing with the above comments. You cannot run this saw on a 25,50 or 100 foot WalMart 16 gauge wire cord. 16 and even 14 gauge wire cords have smoked many many electric motor driven equipment. Here is my secret. 1. follow the owners manual, I use a 50 foot 12 gauge wire cord and a 100 foot 12 gauge wire cord and the saw hardly even gets warm. Poulan does NOT recommend using a 100 foot cord, however, I truly believe that is just a precaution to keep people from using `16 gauge 100 ft. cord."Since I have been using a 200 foot Century Wire 10/3 I have had no problems using my chainsaws for hours at a time. And at a price of $64.97 with Free Shipping, I highly recommend this product! 5... 2000 watt generator I expect it will do an excellent job (I have not lost power yet this season) ...I am using this 25 foot # 10 cord to bring power into my home from a Honda 2000 watt generator I expect it will do an excellent job (I have not lost power yet this season) I will use 2 of the # 12 versions inside to power my refrigerators up and downstairs connected to the # 10 main feed cord. The cord looks great hopefully it performs as good a it looks will update after first use. 5Good heavy cordVery heavy cords which prevent voltage drop with multiple tools running at the same time. Triple plug holds good I have not experienced any plugs falling out. It is a little stiffer in colder temps but in the sun it flexes and coils really nicely. 5Works with the welderThis extension cord works great with my Lincoln EasyMig welder....handles a long use without heating up and carries the current fine. If anything changes after I use this for welding a long fence run, I ll update this review but at this point, it works well.Update: just finished welding 310 steel 3 rail pipe fence and this cord worked flawlessly. No melted ends, pulled current great and easily handled a full days worth of nonstop welding. Perfect for my use. 5Super Extension CordThe grip this cord has on plugs that are attached is incredible. One of the finest cords I have ever purchased. Not sure of what the warranty is. Called the manufacturer and left a message but did not hear from them. Called seller and was told 30 day warranty but this may be the seller's warranty. No matter, I am not rough on my cords. 5This is a quality cordThis power cord is everything I expected it to be. A large gauge wire to use on heavy load equipment. Nice solid end plug terminations. The cord is thick yet has some flexibility to it. They used a high quality insulator on the cord. The price was fair for a quality cord. would buy again! 5Never tried this brand, but feels like a "lifetime" product.I've ever tried this brand, but it feels like a "lifetime" product. The ends are very stout, the 3-way tap connectors are nice and firm when you plug a device into the end. The wire jacket is very thick and seems like it will slide across the ground well for many years. The lighting is a nice bonus for safety and convenience! We'll see how they hold up - I expect them to outlive me. 5Quality product.Good, high quality, heavy duty cord. Until I got a 220 V charger installed for a plug in hybrid, I used this to plug the car into a 110 V dedicated circuit, using this to reach to the vehicle. Not inexpensive but worth it. 5
