    Good But Needed a Really Good Final Edit!Good but really needed a good final edit. Interesting premise that became frustrating with the editing issues. 4good storyI enjoyed this book. The storyline is interesting. I wish it was longer. Amy Carpenter asked Jake Barry to help with her fathers failing business. He would help, if she would marry him. He turns out to be a real sweet guy. 4Good story but too many typosI really enjoy Ola' s stories, especially her Pride and Prejudice adaptations, and this one is no exception. The problem is that it is obvious that English is not her first language. There were so many errors that could have been corrected if she simply had an English speaking editor. There was also a point where she was referring to a character (Michael) by the wrong name, actually two different wrong names. A good editor would definitely improve this story. 3Marriage and CourtshipI purchased this book because of the author. I have read many books she has written and always like the books. This one is VERY good but I do have a complaint. The editing was VERY BAD. I was so sorry to see this because the story is wonderful. I gave it 5 stars because the story was so entertaining. For me, it was very worth the money. 5Nice romantic love storyThis is a non- angst love story. I bough the book because of the good reviews and liked the premises of the story. Jake is a dream come thru for many women, he is caring, loving and patient. Amy does not understand why he is so positive and loving, she doesn't see that he has been in love with her for sometime. I liked the way the relationship develops and how Amy grows to love him, however there are many things that I think the author didn't think through and just wanted to finish the book. At the end I feel that there is love but that there still a disconnect between the main characters.Pros-- Jake is loving and determined to make the marriage work whatever it takes from his part. Amy is the most important person in his live and he shows it everyday.- Amy is willing to go along with the changes in her live and gives Jake enough space to show his love, even though she doesn't understand why he behaves that way.Cons-- I could not relate with Amy at all. she was all love for her father and very stingy with her love and attention with Jake, she can't feel real love for Jake. She is sometimes so cold, she complains about Jake's physical attentions, she keeps wanting for him to go away and let her keep her distance- How can Amy never really question Jake's feelings? How and why he wants her as his wife? Why does he seem to love her?-The author uses time arbitrary. At times she goes day-to-day, then sometimes she went from one day to 3 months later then in one sentence 5 months have gone by, I understand that a daily routine is not needed however 2 to 3 months have gone by?- I understand that the author might want to write about a woman that might not be into the physical part of the relationship as much as the majority of the romantic novel are, but Jakes is patient, takes her into it one step at a time, he doesn't pressure her at ANY time and she never gets to get into it? She learns what he likes and she gets mildly excited!? The author gets into detail just to end up saying that Amy was disappointed, what is that all about?- Even at the end of the story it feels like Amy never gets to love him with the passion that he feels and demonstrate from day one.All and all I like the story, no angst and all love. Just to have a lover like Jake, he is amazing, the story is worth the 3.5 stars 4
