Customer Reviews

(Oil rubbed bronze) install was easy when you know what you're doing (Oil rubbed bronze) install was easy when you know what you're doing. After using the two for almost 1year we have hard water so their is some white residue that adheres to trough. But is easily cleaned out with a toothbrush and soft scrub. function is great probably one of the nicer substantial (Weighty) faucets on the market for a great price. Going to get one in Chrome for my downstairs sink now. 5Quality workmanship and works as designed. I didn't think ... Quality workmanship and works as designed. I didn't think this one through, however, regarding the design requirements. Due to the requirement to restrict the water flow so that there is a waterfall and not a squirt, the delivery rate of the water is such that the hot water is only warm, not hot. My house reality may not be another's. My water heater is 65 feet from this faucet, and that is straight line, not pipeline feet. This distance and the reduced flow rate allows enough heat loss into the ground/slab that the water delivered through this faucet is 12+ degrees cooler than the faucet it replaced. I could raise the water heater's temperature but then the water would be too hot everywhere else. At present my water heater is set to 140F and delivery at the old faucet ran 119F. With this new faucet we get an average of 105F. Oh well, live and learn. 5Love this faucet Love this faucet! The only advice I can give is to make sure if you have a 3 hole sink and need to use the cover plate that your center hole can be filed or cut slightly bigger as this piece is made for a 1 hole as well and the hoses all go through the center hole only. My vanity is a standard 49" vanity and the center hole as about 1/4 inch too small and had to be filed. Luckily it was a easy fix for me. Water does stay in the open part after turning off as well and being that I am slightly ocd I do dry it out, but with it being more of a durable finish there I am sure it would be fine leaving it. I LOVE this faucet now that it is installed!!!! 5I love this faucet I love this faucet. It looks and works great. A little water sits on the edge when turned off. It doesn t bother me. It evaporates or gets pushed off. I also like the one hand feature. I like that the flow is less than my old faucet. It doesn t splash and I use less water. The angle and height on the bathroom sink is perfect. The brushed nickel feels elegant and simple. A nice plus with the waterfall feature is that I don t get toothpaste splatter on the spigot. 5High Quality Faucet I had my eye on this style from some competing manufacturers that cost waaay more than this faucet. They just didn't seem worth the cost, so I ordered this Premier and am quite impressed with it. Unit is HEAVY solid metal and just feels really well built. Handle has worked flawlessly thus far (About 3 months). There are two cover plates provided, one for a single shaft faucet and a wider one to cover the holes if your sink was setup for two knobs (hot and cold). I will point out the one for the single is metal and the plate for the three hole sink is chromed plastic. This would probably annoy me, but since I am not using it and happy to be using the metal plate.Keep in mind this style of faucet pushes water out at a higher angle towards you, so depending on the angels in your sink, you may experience some water splashing out of the sink. Frankly that doesn't bother my wife or I as we enjoy the open and antique look that this faucet provides. 5very easy to install Update: I just had a new hot water heater installed and a bunch of sediment from the old one went through the lines and clogged up this faucet so bad that it had no flow at all. I took a look at the installation instructions from Premier's website which show a full faucet diagram (including internals) and took it apart from the top down. I found that there was sediment clogging the cartridge and the check valve, which were easily washed out once removed. I also ran the faucet for a few seconds on both hot and cold (separately) to flush the lines. If you hold your hand over where the handle was and press down to make a seal, it'll force the water out the spout so you don't have a mess. The faucet now works great again. For people that have bad flow with this faucet, I suggest you try this - there can be sediment in the lines when you change faucets too, which is why you are supposed to flush the lines before hooking up the new one. It was very easy, my only tip is that the bonnet nut does screw off - use a rubber band or piece of cloth to protect the threads for the cap when you are using a wrench on it. I only hand-tightened it when replacing it.Original review: So my husband and I just bought our first house, and it was built in the 1960s and we purchased it from the original owner and since she was older and on a limited income it hadn't been updated in forever. I'm pretty sure the bathroom vanities and hardware are original to the house. A full remodel isn't in the budget yet, but I'm a big DIYer and figured updating the hardware would go a long way! This faucet went into our downstairs half-bath.I've installed kitchen faucets before but this was my first bathroom faucet install, and I was a little apprehensive because of the drain hook-up. I needn't have worried! Both the faucet and the drain were super easy to install - in fact I couldn't believe how easy and straightforward the drain hook-up was! It adjusts horizontally and vertically with just the press of a button. The drain itself was also very easy to install. The instructions reference using both silicone and putty - it looks like maybe someone went to rework the instructions to say to use silicone and forgot to remove the references to plumber's putty. You can use either, it really comes down to personal preference (and if you have a fancy sink, putty might stain it). I used silicone. The water supply lines are nice and long, although I think it is worth mentioning that although the specs on both the Amazon page and the manufacturer's page say the water lines have a 1/2" IPS connection, they do in fact have standard 3/8" compression connections (translation: will fit your standard water shut-offs). I had checked because I had to replace my water shut-off valves at the same time (apparently in the 1960s the water lines were an integral part of the shut-off valves, meaning you could never replace them) and luckily I brought the faucet with me to the store instead of relying on the specs.Once installed, I think it looks and works great! I've included some pictures so you can see how it look in my 19" round sink, including a picture of the water turned on full blast so you can see how far it goes out. I have pretty high water pressure to start with, this certainly does restrict it some but I think that is a very good thing otherwise it would spray outside the sink when turned on full blast! I'll be sure to update if I have any problems with it but as of now I'm very happy with my purchase. 5Simple to install I'm not sure why some reviews had issues with install, perhaps an earlier design. I just ordered two of these in June 2017, had them both installed in about 30 minutes(less drains). The supply lines are built in and are about 20-24", plently long enough for most all applications. As others mentioned there are two base plates, one for single hole mount and a wider one to cover a 3-hole sink/countertop. Both plates are metal, wide has a plastic gasket on the underside. I have standard builder grade dual vanity setup which originally had 2 handle faucets. This covered the spare holes easily. Center hole in my sink was 1 1/4" and this faucet fit fine with no modification required. Faucet attaches with a plate secured with two (included) 10mm long nuts (a deep socket with extension worked perfectly).I reused my original drains so I can't comment on the plastic ones this came with. My originals match the faucet, have brass bodies and don't leak (why screw with them). I did retain the new ones for potenial spares. All in all a decent faucet for the price. Both looked and operated the same. No complaints whatsoever. 5Couldn't be more pleased I have a narrow bathroom, with a narrow vanity that holds a shallow, not-quite-full-size sink. This waterfall faucet makes it look so cool and contemporary. It's just really pretty.Too, this waterfall faucet has overcome two problems I had with the previous "normal" faucet: (a) I can wash my hands in the middle of the sink, not up against the back wall of the sink; (b) it doesn't splash water out onto the floor, as the previous faucet did if it was turned on full-force. 5Overall, very pleased with this purchase Faucet appears to be very well constructed, and operation is smooth and concise. Installation was a little more difficult than it needed to be because the instructions were not totally clear, and the diagrams could have been more helpful. My wife loves the design excluding the fact that a small amount of water remains in the dispensing area after the valve has been closed. If it were not for that small inconvenience, the faucet would be "perfect". We'll be ordering two more for the master bath. 5I really like it. Looks very nice I have had this Sanibel lead free faucet 284445 installed for a couple months now. I really like it. Looks very nice. The only thing is the water just sits in the little spout after you turn it off. Thinking should have a slight slant to allow water to run all the way out. Other than that. Good faucet. 4
