    Good performance even at low installation height.Have a G5RV. Put up this simple end-fed and the signals improvement was immediately discernible. The antenna is only about 12 feet off the ground (temporary situation), yet my very first contact was a station in Hungary. Highly recommend it. 5Excellent antenna. Using it thrown up into a tree ...Works fantastically. My FT-991 internal tuner has no problems tuning this from 80 to 6 meters, and it doesn't need a tuner for much of that. Excellent antenna. Highly recommending this antenna for portable use. 5Excellent ProductThese end fed antennae are relatively easy to build--if you have the time to collect the parts and put them together. I don't. This was a relatively inexpensive purchase, plus I like supporting other ham operators who are entrepreneurial and produce made-in-America stuff. I've only done a very quick 40 min "test", which involved taking the antenna to a nearby park in Beverly Hills, throwing the antenna up into a tree, and turning on my Youkits TJ2B transceiver (5 watts). I immediately had contacts up and down the west coast, Idaho, and in the mid-West at 4 in the afternoon on 40 and 20 meters. I am very pleased with both the antenna and transceiver--which I purchased for mobile/emergencies. (We are only 1 mile from the Hollywood fault.) This is by far the best of my portable antennae. Had this antenna up in the tree in a few minutes, tied off and run coax. Made contact within minutes in upstate NY after getting things connected. I'm in South Carolina and signals were excellent. Seems to be a good antenna. 5Great Antenna for 40 MeterI use this antenna for nights when I want to escape the ham-shack and sit on my back screened-in-porch. I put one end up in a tree approx 30 feet up, and the other end on my porch about 7 feet off the ground. I've talked to a lot of states as well as some DX station running my Yaesu 450 at stock power (100-watts) on this antenna. I had some issues getting it to tune on some frequencies on 20-meter but that may be due to my setup. I tried to use a tuner to get it to work on 80, but that was a no go--but it's not designed for 80 so that's not a problem. Its a great antenna for a field five minutes setup and go situation. The balun box is not water proof, in fact the bottom cover popped off mine. I may seal it up using some 3M 5200 so its sealed. 4Cool antennaBought this to quickly get on the air at my new QTH. Worked some DX and stateside at 100watts. Have since put up a permanent antenna but will keep this for emergencies. 5
