    I've wasted tons of materialsI haven't had much money for my photo class this semester, and being the first time I've ever done film photography, I've wasted tons of materials: film, mounting board and especially paper. Tonally, this paper works well, many of my classmates use Ilford and though there may be a difference, I have yet to see a difference. Its cheaper than any other paper I've been able to find and having 100 sheets comes in handy when you go through it as quickly as I do. 4 or 5 boxes in, I decided to finally give this paper a review. Kicks ass. 5My photography professor said that cheaper paper would show in the photos but everyone else in my class uses ilford and he saidAlthough I will admit the paper seems a little less durable than the ilford brand paper , I had no issues with the paper and saved tons of money ordering 2 boxes of the 100 count for a little more than the cost of 1 pack of 100 count ilford paper. My photography professor said that cheaper paper would show in the photos but everyone else in my class uses ilford and he said my pictures were the best :) and did not notice the difference in quality. I purchased the gloss and haven't tried the luster paper, but plan on ordering some to try the pearl coat finish. I took a leap of faith because I run through paper and film like a mad man, and i encourage anyone else on a budget to at least use this paper for your test strips and contact sheets if nothing else to help save money and use the ilford for your final prints. The thickness of the paper as I said is lacking but the prints themselves are gorgeous if you know how to work your camera.
