    What a beautiful spectrumTired of cheap bulbs and companies not delivering good products? Time to loosen the purse strings and play with the big boys.I was having very poor luck getting good, not-used.., bulbs from one of the cheap sellers on here. Needed a 4200K bulb, so I bit the bullet and ordered this bad boy. So glad I did.It took a while to get to me(I don t have Prime..*rolls eyes..), but it arrived in flawless condition. Kinda like a new bulb! lol.. It shouldn t need to be said, but getting what you order and not having to complain about it is worth the extra money.But wait... There s more! I was happy to get an actual new bulb that wasn t broken. Then I popped that baby in..and that s when the magic happened!This bulb seems to have the brightness and intensity of a 3100K, but that beautiful spectrum of a well balanced veg bulb.I haven t used it much yet, but I can already tell it smokes the competition. No pun intended.. ;) I didn t want to burn it up with the dimmable cmh I use to start with, but my girls are doing wonderful and it s almost time to light this up in the parallel fixture and bring down da fire!VERY happy with this bulb! Another fine example of you get what you pay for . :)5Philips cmhI am using it for mid veg and flower..but lamp will burn out prior than advertised. I won't know how good it work until I harvest and measure the yield but, for now the plants look very good.This lamp puts out less head than a 500watt CF fixture with 8 - T5 tubes I was running previously.5BEING LOYAL MEANS JACK TO AMAZONI bought this bulb 10 months ago. So because i have only had one return (due to my error) in 7 years of being an amazon prime member i didnt check to make sure it worked. I was OVERconfident i guess that if amazon sent me a defective product they would make it right. Long story short, just now screwed the bulb in to veg some baby marijuana plants and it ignited and warmed up to peak performance, i woke up this morning and BUST. Thier were 2 little pieces of glass rattling around inside when i first got it, but when it lit up i figured those pieces wouldnt effect anything. Either way im out of $$ and my confidence in buying everything possible through amazon is GONE!If they want to make it up and keep a prime member just REPLACE it!!moral of the story is try whatever u buy right away or else amazon will screw you. It's replacing 430+ watts of T5 (which I have been using for years), and the plants responded immediately and impressively. Expensive, but no so bad in comparison to replacing 8 T5 bulbs with better results and bulb life expectancy. Has me seriously considering CMH for flower as well.5If you are used to the quality of MH lamps do not switch to 315w CMH lamps, they don't add up.Switching from 400w MH to 315w CMH completely ruined my garden! All the plans wer fine and dandy with short internodal spacing and a bushy plant structure. Now all the branches have stretched 4 times the distance between internodal spacing after only one week of using a 315w CMH! The idea that a 315 CMH lamp can replace a 600w MH lamp it is a complete mess. I don't care what the numbers say, the plants say it all! I have never seen so much stretching of branches in my life until after switching to using this 315 CMH lamp. This lamp greatly stimulates my plants to stretch like they are barely getting any light and the stwms have gotten smallwr and weaker just from s1itching to this lamp from 4000K 400W MH. Not only that, but all the leaves on the bottom of my plants are now turning yellow from lack of light. Whereas with my 400w MH lamp there is no yellowing, the internodal spacing is much closer and the plants even look healthier with thicker bigger stems and leaves. I replaced a 50w x4 COB led grow light total power was 200w(listing stated it was 800w). This is much better! I used it in a Hydro Crunch fixture and it works perfect. Couldn't be happier. Will probably be buying more.5
