    Good quality Blu-ray discs and a great price. These discs work just fine for me and they are very cost effective. Any issues that you have can be attributed to the Blu-ray burner that you use and/or not being current with firmware updates. For example, I have a Pioneer burner that can burn a Blu-ray disc at 4X without any errors. I also have a Lite-On with updated firmware that has failed twice, about midway through the Blu-ray burning process---in a row---while trying to burn at 4X. I believe the Lite-On is better suited to burning Blu-rays at a slower speed like 2X. Additionally, I find that defragmenting your hard drive helps to facilitate burning discs. 5Inexpensive and appears reliable. So far, so good.I burned a 24 GB data bluray disc on a Pioneer SATA Internal BD 208DBK. The disc was incredibly silent while burning and verified with no errors. I will wait for six months to determine that the disc still holds the information burned to it and will update my review here if there are any problems. These discs are my first experience with bluray technology and were the first that I used in my also new Pioneer drive.I use a Mac Pro Mid 2012 computer. And the discs burned flawlessly on it.Compared to other discs out there, you can't beat the price. 5GREAT disks. cant beat the price out of 50 disks i only had 3 not burn and i am sure it was a software issue and not the quality of the disks themselves. these are GREAT for the price and the quality is perfect. i waited to write this review due to all the bad ones but i an running two LG BD-RW drives with Nero 9 and DVD Fab, and they work great with these disks. CANT BEAT THE PRICE!!!!!UPDATE: 7-25-2013I have used 5 or more 50 packs and i still have very few if any "coasters". These are the the best priced BD-R disks around and they work perfect. The video quality on my movies is excellent and backups are just as good as the original. 5Good for the price. Be sure to verify the burn! I've used four or five of these cake boxes, and I never had a failed burn until this last one, which had three failures in a row, all at about 30% in. After that, all burns (so far) have succeeded. I think most people would consider that a good success rate for a disk of this price. I set my software to burn slow and verify. If you don't want to spend the time verifying each disk, you may want to pony up a bit more cash for a greater reliability. But these are good if you're a home user and you don't mind letting your software make sure of the burn. 3Good disk This actually has been the only brand of Blu-Ray disk I have used, why, if something works, why fix it. These have worked every time. From a price point, I have not found any less expensive, quality, I have not had any issues. Play back or recording, These 2 factors rule with just about everything I purchase. I can not really write about the dye process or what else goes into the manufacturing of these, or any other disk for that matter. I will say this as a reminder, if you have data on your computer, you need to burn it on disk, it is not a matter of if a hard drive will fail, it is when. So back up your pictures and documents that are important to you...today. Would recommend and I use these on a regular basis. 5No coasters, so far As long as you follow the manufacturer's specification on the SPEED of the recording, which for these particular blanks is 4X, you will NOT get any coasters. I find I get better results using Nero 11, which also gives you the option to control your recording speed.I have burned about half of the discs in this package, and have NOT had a coaster yet. Those that write that they got coasters probably tried to burn at a higher speed than the disc was rated for, and simply are unversed in using burners, or they got poor quality burners to begin with. My advice to these people: get a little education before you make such rash reviews about products you obviously don't understand.When I run out of these discs, I will order another batch of them, because the price is right, and they work as expected. I have had no problems with them, and would recommend them to anyone who knows what they are doing when it comes to burning a DVD, BluRay or otherwise.I have already mastered a BluRay DVD of my own stuff using Sony DVD Architect Pro 5.2.And yes, there will be more!UPDATE: 06/21/2013I used that whole spindle without getting a single coaster, so I ordered the 50-pack on the next order, and have already used several of those. So far, so good. 5Did not last 3 years UPDATE 6/2015: After 3 years of proper storage (cool and dark), these discs have begun to become unreadable, and the dye is visibly fading/disappearing in spots. Apparently they thought invisible ink was a good storage idea. So I do NOT recommend these. My previous review follows.Working on my third 50 pack, I've had very good results with these discs on my Pioneer BDR-207DBK internal drive under Linux. I usually burn at 2X for greater reliability with any discs, just out of habit. I had I think two discs that had burn errors on one file burned, with the rest of the disc readable. For the cost, I think the error rate on these is reasonable. And I've never had a problem reading older burned discs.In the last pack, the two discs at the bottom had no painted coating (label) on top - they were transparent. The one burned and verified okay nonetheless, but the other didn't. I didn't count the discs so not sure if these were extras or part of the 50.Compared to prices on other discs, I think these are worth the money as long as you verify the burn and accept a rare failure (which is common anyway). I will continue to buy these. 1Amazing cost effective purchase! I had problems starting my first burn with this set of BD-R discs, as I had freshly installed Windows 8 and had attempted to use the burning software within the OS. After seeing its shortcomings and limitations I ditched that idea, looked at various reviews, and downloaded and ran ImgBurn -- and promptly erred by not limiting my burn speed. My first thought as I watched my burn speed pass 4x on its way to 10x was "oh man...first disc, and it's going to be a coaster." Here's the shocker: It burned perfectly, verified the data at 100%, and when I opened some of the files on the freshly burned disc, they ran without a hitch. Amazing! 4x rated discs burning at 10x! As such, I ran a second one the same way -- full speed -- and it ran flawlessly as well!I'm sure I'm going to wind up with a coaster or two, but I plan on continuing this trend until this happens. I'll update here once I either burn my first coaster or go through the whole spindle. 5Data Retention does not last long I have been using these for over a year. They burn great but it is the data retention that is a problem. I burn a lot of home videos and picture and needed to recover 3 videos I did a year ago. Out of 4 disks two of them had read errors. Upon inspection of other disks I have found more random read errors. I do double backups so no data was lost. I am just very disappointed in that I really like theses disks and the price is good but they do not last long. I will not buy these again. If you have optical disk and they are about a year old I highly suggest you verify them. VSO inspector is free and will show the read errors. It takes awhile but it is worth it. 1Perfect First Burn The disks arrived today. I made my very first Blu-ray movie burn shortly thereafter.If the rest of the disks are as good as the first one, I will be buying a few more of these spindles. I paid $26.95 here at Amazon. That seems like a good price considering what some others are going for.If the middle of the spindle starts turning bad, I will update this and let folks know.For the first burn, I am happy. Since this is the very first time I have ever burned any kind of Blu-ray disk at all, I would say today was a success. :)(Asus Burner) 5
