    4 1/2" heavy duty cleatthe cleat was used in my block and tackle rope pulley to lift an air conditioner in position and tie it off by myself without getting another person to helpin my project to have cool air in the summer months coming up for the shed when I am in there doing home projects.4Five Stars Used it to work with my Pulley Block and Tackle. Held the load with out problem. 5Better than ExpectedVery well made rope cleat, larger than expected, but ideal for the job. The client baulked at using it though, so it is sitting in sideline awaiting a future installation.4Ok Worked good 5I wrapped 10+ feet or 1/4 inch cord just fine.I may be a crusty sailor, 8 years in the Navy, but this one isn't nautical. It's actually nailed to a tree in the front yard. Living on some land has its advantages. One being the wildlife. Had a bird feeder tie wrapped to a branch, now with this, and a couple pulleys, access to refill is easy. And the thing holds rope just fine. I needed to wrap two 1/2" ropes around it, and only one rope fits. The finish is polished chrome and not nickel as described, though it appears very well made.3Nice Small CleatThis is a small cleat so it is made for small rope and smaller weight loads. Looking at the picture can make you think it is bigger tha it is. I use mine for holding the rope on a pulley system I use to pull items into the attic.5National Hardware Solid Moulding Grade 6 NickelForged in Malaysia, no flaws. Shd mount easily into a stud. Perfect for chord wrap around from above pulley.5Might support a drapery cord.Very light duty decorative cleat. It is small and looks to be made of chrome plated diecast zinc. The two holes fit teeny #6 screws Whatever load you want to support, you are limited to these. You can't get a #8 screw through without forcing it or twisting the threaded part, and then the unthreaded top part of the screw doesn't go through at all. It should work well for holding a drapery cord. Not much else.3Good. Strong. Small screw holes.This item is exactly what I was expecting. I use it as an anchor for a light on a pulley. Plenty strong. I knew that these were going to be small, but I thought that I would give them a try. I want to use them to hold my small boat at the dock. I think I could use them in this application, but the horns are a little small. I knew that it would be pushing the limit, so I am not removing any stars.The finish is very bright and uniform. It has a solid feel to it and the curve from the base to the horn is very attractive. This would be a great product to use with small, 1/4" or thinner rope. Although i cannot use it in my original application, I think these are a quality, well made product. 5Great cleat, but no screwsThis is a very high quality cleat. My only issue is that it doesn t come with a set of screws. If you buy one just be aware that you will need to buy a screw that fits the hole and the type of material you are anchoring it to.5
