Customer Reviews

The phone slides in easily but does not slip out on its own (that's ... The armband arrived as pictured. The plastic face allows you to see and still use the touchscreen to skip songs or even text, although it takes a bit more pressure than normal. The phone slides in easily but does not slip out on its own (that's a good thing). There are no access slots for the volume control buttons on the side, but the unit is light enough that I can still adjust the volume by using just a bit more pressure than usual.HTC Evo 4G LTE 5Comfortable, see phone guide Comfortable to wearThe material is soft, and comfortable, stitches look nice, but only time, wear, and humidity will show if the stitches are good or not.Once in your arm, it s difficult that 4 phone may slide out use it with the opening facing upwards in your arm.I actually use it with an old Galaxy S2, SD 32GB for music and a prepaid SIM, and my new more expensive phone stays home.Clear plastic cover a little bit on the thick side, but the phone screen responds ok.Of all phones that I tried this is best suited for 4 , maybe 4.5 in some cases. There is an APP called Set Orientation, you may want to try it in your phone, it is much easier to see the icons and apps in landscape mode.Which phones fit inside?Following are a list of several phones which I tried with the armband casing.I tried all phones with the corresponding TPU case attached to the phone, it is not a fair test, but I am sure that most of us do not want to remove the protective casing of their phones to use the armband case. The seller clearly listed the size of phones that fits in the case, and I recommend you check the size of your phone before you buy the case.Galaxy Nexus Width yes, Length noOne Plus W. no, L. noGalaxy S2 W. yes, L. yesNexus 5 W. yes, L. noMoto G 1 W yes, L. noLG 5 II W. yes, L. yes 5Mybat Sport Armband Case ... great for 13 months One of the plastic brackets that the strap runs through broke while I was running. The armband, which I used only for running, lasted me about 13.5 months. With three runs per week, that works out to about 160 runs. On the other hand, I only paid about $6, including shipping costs, for this product. My original rating for the product was 5 stars. The case held my Android phone (an HTC Evolution) snugly and safely, and provided adequate protection from sweat. I occasionally run in light rain and that was never a problem either. The product showed no significant signs of wear until the bracket broke.Given that the product was so inexpensive, I have downgraded it to 3 stars, rather than 1 or 2.I now have an Armpocket Aero i-10. It appears to be very sturdy but I'll hold of on reviewing it until I've had it for a significant period. It's expensive: $30 via Amazon and also at one of the big box stores. I'm not sure I would paid have this much but I was more than willing to use a gift card I'd recently received. 3Reasonably well made, but only useful if you have large arms. Overall, the build quality of this product is pretty good.My main issue is the fact that it seems to be sized more to fit around a thigh than an arm. There is one piece of hooked Velcro at the very end of the strap, the the rest of the strap is made of the fuzzy side. My arms, which I would rate as fairly average sized for a male, allow it to fit passably, if looser than I would prefer when pulled all the way through to the smalles setting. My wife is reasonably slender, and there is no way at all that she could use this case unless she strapped it to her thigh.I'm not sure what I expected from a product this cheap, but the only way we'll be able to use it is to add Velcro, or is my wife wants to gain 60-70 pounds. Which seems counterproductive to owning a jogging case. 2Good for the price Keeps my phone secure. It fits my OG Droid reasonably well for being "universal," and the armband strap secures nice and snugly to my upper arm. It will even stay on the upper part of my forearm, but not around my wrist (but then I wasn't really expecting that to work). It might work for bigger guys, but not for those of us with smaller frames. The touchscreen does work through the plastic, but not very well. Drawing an unlock gesture is an exercise in frustration. It is also very difficult to get the phone out while the armband is still around your arm. Forget about getting it back in without taking the band off first; not gonna happen.I was hoping to use it as more of an everyday arm-mounted holster, but this band isn't really made for that. It's made for keeping your phone secure while you exercise, and that's what it does. 4Good chance males will need a different size Way too tight and hard to strap on my arm. I by no means have big bodybuilder arms but they are man arms and I do lift. If the company added even an inch to the strap it would be an infinitely better product.Besides that most normal sized bar style phones fit in it, including a galaxy s3 and xperia TL. I could use the screen without taking it out of the band if I needed to change songs. Used it while on the rowing machine and treadmill and it held tight (maybe too tight). Quality really good for the price but its just too small. 3Very nice but a little too big for me Good quality item and for the price you really can't beat it - I spent less than five bucks including shipping, so I can't complain too much. I'm pretty small so I expected that it may not fit. My arms are 10 inches at their smallest and this was just a little too big. With some modifications (sewed on another piece of velcro) it fit fine. My phone is a Samsung Gravity (a smaller phone but thicker because it has the slide-out keyboard) and it fits with case. It holds my phone tightly and it doesn't slide at all, even though the pouch has enough room left for a bigger phone. Also, I am able to use the touchscreen through the plastic for the applications I use (might not be so great for dialing numbers though). 4great for what I needed I've never used an arm band before, but am very happy with this one. Because its a universal arm band made for many different types of phones it fits my iPhone 4S great with the OtterBox reflex case on it. I've only gone for one run with it on so far, but it worked great. There's a little slit across the top of the back of the phone where you can insert the phone and also where the headphone jack comes out. I was able to still use the touchscreen for the most part while it was in the case. Using the volume buttons was a little more tricky, but it worked. The neoprene feels great against the skin. I would say I have normal to small arms and it fits me great. I have plenty more room to adjust it in either direction. The case looks well made and I don't expect to have any problems with the stitching etc. I'm very happy with my purchase. It was definitely worth the $5. 5Worthy for first timers This is a really nice product, for $2 you can't go wrong but you can believe you me but I'm not gonna get to that as yet. It's good for running but as for weight lifting i wouldn't recommend it.Things went wrong when i went to lift and I was just doing some weighted pullups and on the up position, bam, it happened, one massive tear right on the seam of the front cover. It was so depressing. It always felt weird when I would lift with it cause its not or doesn't feel flexible but I never paid no real mind and then that happened. Also its not long enough to place on other parts of the body like ones forearm. which would be nice to mitigate its non flexibility and I'm a fairly skinny guy so I don't have Dragon Ball Z Super Sayain 3 arms. The screen works within the plastic and sweat doesn't really get into the system but i'm not that much a sweater. But overall for a first time thing to check out armbands its not bad, now I know what I need and want and would like. $2 doesn't hurt either unless that's your charity money. 4Nice for the price. Could be better. For a little over five bucks, I can't complain much, since a simple neoprene velcro band of a similar size runs about double that price. Fits my HTC Incredible which is doubling as my flight computer for paragliding, and the velcro band is secure and does the job.The bad part of this unit is the build quality. The threaded stitching that secures the plastic window to the band has started to unravel, and no longer will safely secure a phone. Double stitching would be helpful, or securing the threaded junctions. Like I said though, for under six bucks I can learn to sew. Also, I might point out that the band could be a little longer. It is a tight fit around a larger bicep. The flap used to tuck in a phone could use a strip of velcro to make sure there is no chance of the phone escaping. Even though the phone sticks in there really good, I'm a little unsettled by an opening that could allow the phone to slip through if provided the proper jolt. A small safety pin has allowed me to put it out of my mind and not worry. 3
