    Great solution for older AX720 headphonesThis converter allows me to make use of the Tritton AX720 headphones that I had lying around from my old Xbox 360. It lets me use a 3.5mm jack from my tablet or phone, which transfers to a digital signal (optical cable) sending the data to the AX720 amplifier. I spent $125 on the headphones and now they are useful again. Before they were collecting dust.5It works !!!!I own a 18 speaker soundbar I bought years ago & I was using the analog connection for a while. Then i found a small bluetooth device Heartland America. By chance I happened to run across this device which excepts rca input to digital/toslink output. Perfect connections for soundbar. It made a big difference in the sound output. Glad I was patient when I saw this on Amazon. Great work on this device. Will recommend5Works Great but...The Musou RCA to Digital Converter works. The sound coming out sound better the Just using the RCA Cables. The only reason for 4 stars is the power cable is about 3ft? No where near long enough. No Luck1Great way to run analog signal over a long distanceNeeded to get audio out of my computer and to a receiver on the other side of my garage. I hooked a bunch of RCA cables together and ended up with lots of interference. I then discovered this beauty and came out of the back of my computer via 3.5mm to RCA and then went toslink 100 ft to my receiver and its sound perfect!5Just what I neededI own a Marrantz professional CD player and have bunch of CDs and I didn't want to loose access to it. When I bought a brand new Marrantz Receiver, it no longer had RCA inputs. I ordered this little device and it resolved my issue perfectly. For other customers that are having the same issue it's important to mentioned that by default the Receiver was configured to receive the CD input in the HDMI connector so I had to go into the settings and change the input to Digital. Once I did that, sound worked as expected. I am extremely pleased.5Exactly What I NeededNeeded a unit to route my older stereo set up into a sound bar. They are bad and not providing the optical audio output1Exactly what I neededThis is exactly what I was looking for. I have an older model Sanyo TV that has no HDMI / ARC jack or a optical audio jack. I recently got a great deal on a wireless Bluetooth sound bar.However I could not plug the TV into the sound bar because the sound bar only had HDMI, optical, and a few other options that the TV lacked. With this I was able to plug a coax cable into the tv jack and into the box and an optical cord from the converter box into the sound bar. It sounds fine and allows me to use my sound bar for something other from Bluetooth audio from my phone.5I had not even known that an RCA to digital converter was possible. It works perfectlyI had already purchased a digital to analog converter to down-convert my television digital audio output to an RCA input for a graphic equalizer. (I am a big equalizer fan.) But my new sound bar did not have an RCA input, only digital. This converter allowed me to up-convert the equalizer output back to digital input into my sound bar - something that I did not even know was possible. All things considered, the hookup was easy, and the results were excellent.5Mine does not work * Update - Replacement worksI purchased this for obvious intended purpose. I have a Bose 300 soundtouch that supports optical input. I have tried to send RCA from master line out of a Pioneer DJM mixer with no result. To troubleshoot, I used optical out from my cable receiver straight to the soundbar. Got clear sound. I then used the RCA out of the cable receiver to this converter and optical out of the converter to the soundbar. No audio. I switched the RCA cables to ensure that was not the problem. No audio. I have tried all settings on my devices...No audio. So, given that the 2 sources I have tried and the speaker and cables/connections are all good, it leaves to reason that this converter as not operating properly.I would love to try another, but I am not going to repurchase this product. If the seller on here would like to send me a replacement, I will happily try it and update this review.*** UPDATE ***After writing the above review, the seller responded and sent a replacement unit free of charge. The replacement works as advertised and I have upgraded my review from 1 star to 4 stars. The unit works as described and would have given 5 stars had the initial unit worked. Thank you to the seller for being responsive and providing a replacement. As long as you are not in a time crunch and the seller remains responsive, this is not a bad buy. Thank you!4
