    Honestly, unexpected Very descent product. I just ordered my second one. That tells you all. It will definitely do what I am expecting to do. Couple of pictures will give you an idea of the magnet strength. The tea box is pretty much heavy. 5Strong mini magnet and sturdy bendable shaft. This is a great tool to have around when you need it. The long bendable aluminum shaft us sturdy and thick enough to stay in any position you bend it to. Not a flimsy tool, and has a nice strong magnet. 5Actuall length of rod is 14 inches - once bent forget about getting it straight again The 19" length in the description is deceptive as it includes the length of the handle. The actual length is 14 inches. The good part is that it has a very stiff rod section. The bad part is that it has a very stiff rod section which means that once bent it is impossible to get it straight again and it also is less practical to bend it to fit inside a drawer of a tool chest and then use it again. I will continue to use a telescoping rod with a magnetic tip as it has as long a reach and is easy to store collapsed in a drawer until needed. 3Works Great & Durable! Works great and small enough to get into the smallest cracks. I had a nut lost in my Harley-Davidson primary and this got it out in a few seconds. Awesome quality and a great price! 5Great tool for an awesome price I dropped a nut inside an oil passage in my cylinder head. It curves a bit so my telescoping one couldn't reach. I stopped by 6 or 7 stores and only found one flex magnet but it was too fat can couldn't reach. This was half the price of that, smaller, and has a stronger magnet. First time I DIDN'T have to remove a floor pan to get a single nut this paid for itself. 5grips and collects as it should this magnetic pick up tool does exactly what it's supposed to do - pick up anything magnetic that comes in it's way. it also bends to get to unusual spaces that are not very accessible.but this looks to be the big weakness of it - after a few months of moderate use, I'm a bit afraid that I'll snap the bendable part in two sometimes in the future, and thus the 4 star rating. 4Deceptive length and product Deceptive the length is including a non bendable handle and you can t get it strait to save your life so there s a loss in length from that as well, the magnet is very weak I don t even think it will hold anything coming out of sheet metal, it s like operation if your stick touches the side the magnet releases what your after. The bendable part is pretty stiff which is good cause it will hold its shape even when you have something hanging on the end of it. My only concern is that it is so stiff that it might break from bending it too much. If that happens I will come back and update, but for now it is a solid 5 stars!Update: It's been over a year and I have used this many times. It's still as good as new.Update: It's been 2 tears now.
