    Awesome mic for first respondersThis is the second mic I have purchesed for my kenwood radio. All I can say is I should of searched a little harder the first time. I've been using this mic for a month and a half - two months now and so far haven't had any issues. Radio traffic is clear coming thru the speaker and communication doesn't seem to be a problem. 5High Failure Rate on KMC-45 MicsPurchased 4 of these; all 4 failed within 2 years. Can't say I've had the same issues with the KMC-17 or KMC-21 Mics.Not impressed at all. 1Quality.Best mic I ve owned. The only downside is it s a bit pricey.
