    Works with HS30EXR, OK qualityFirst and most importantly, this product works as advertized with a Fuji HS30EXR camera. Holding down the button half way causes the camera to focus (like pressing the shutter button on the camera half way); pressing the button all the way down takes the picture (like press the shutter button on the camera all the way).For long exposures, you can simulating holding the camera's shutter button down by pressing the remote's button and sliding it into the hold position. I found it quite difficult to slide the button in and out of the hold position. If you want to use this feature every day, buy something else. If you plan to try a long exposure once a year, it is adequate for the task.The cable is detachable making storage a bit easier. The cable plugs into the USB port on the camera and I found the cord difficult to insert into the camera. In fact, the first time I plugged it in, I mistakenly only plugged it in about half way because of the excessive force that was actually required to plug it all the way in.Overall, this product is great if you plan to use it on occasion when the need arises. If you plan to use this weekly or daily, I would purchase something else. 3great itemThis thing works beautifully.
