    Time Saver If I had just bought this set earlier I would have saved myself hours (and I mean hours) of time trying to get out a rounded bolt on my 6.4 Powerstroke. I had used a cheaper set from Harbor Freight but I only managed to get out one bolt before the cheap sockets wouldn't bite. I chucked the 8 mm bit from the Irwin set into my cordless impact and bam, the bolt was out in seconds. Right tool for the job. I highly recommend this set. Should have been in my tool box earlier. Skip the cheaper set and get this one, period. 5Right Tool for the Job! Glad I found this, ordered and used it right away to extract some really rusted and stripped screws holding down my RV's completely shot skylights and plumbing vents. Nothing worse than having several roof leaks AND not being able to get screws out to fix it. What is the old saying? "The right tool makes the job easier." The IRWIN bolt extractor set does just that. I know these will come in handy for any bolt or screw that just won't come out. 5They seem to be of good quality, BUT.... They seem to be of good quality, haven't used them just yet. But when I do I will update my review."Update"I wouldn't put a lot of torch on these. I bought these to get a stripped bolt head from a brake caliper and the shaft snapped right off and didn't even put that much pressure on it. Very disappointed. 3Great product for the price!!! These worked great!!! Got me out of a potentiality bad situation. Highly recommended!!! 5tool's teeth stripped after first use I used these bits to remove 4 small locktited bolts. the bolt extractor stopped working after 3,upon inspection the teeth of the extractor had completely worn down and were totally smooth. Leaving me to have to drill out the last bolt. Disappointing quality. Would not recommend 2WORTH THE MONEY Have used half of them and more than once. The cheap ones you buy at Harbor Freight will only last for 3-4 bolts before the inside is worn out. These have lasted through more bolts, working on a salt water boat, and the inside still looks sharp to grab more bolts. 5They work pretty good. My only complaint is that the description ... They work pretty good. My only complaint is that the description said it included a plastic storage case, it does, but the case is only the plastic blister pack they are packaged in. Not really ideal to toss in a tool bag or box. 4Nice Product! The Power-Grip efficiently removed a stripped #10 stainless 2.5 inch screw which an alternative system had failed to do. Unfortunately, the head snapped off the screw, but I was able to use one of the smaller sizes of the Power Grip to remove the remaining screw body from the wood. Excellent and highly recommended. Note, this system would likely not work with a countersunk screw as the Power-Grip needs to grab the screw head. Made in USA! 5Nice extractor set and quality was as expected for an ... Nice extractor set and quality was as expected for an Irwin product. Unfortunately, it did not work for extracting the bolt I bought it for due to space constraints, but it will be ready in my tool box the next time I need it. 4Got the Stripped Oil Pan Bolt Off, It Worked! I WOULD RECOMMEND this Bolt Extractor A major department store with a tire and oil change section in the back, stripped my oil pan bolt. I bought this item, hoping to get it off with out a major expense. It worked. I WOULD RECOMMEND this bolt extractor set.I did snap the shank off but it snapped off at the tip and I was able to clean it off and simply insert the remainder of the shank into the hammer drill. In the future I would do that from the start. Other than that, it got the oil pan bolt off and I was able to replace it. 4
