    Not A Girly Girl readerI am not the type of person who reads in search of escapism. I like to do more informational or professional reading for the most part. However, I must say from the time that I pick up this book and started reading that I couldn't put it down.I carried it with me everywhere - on the train, to work and even read in bed (something that I only do when I want to fall asleep.) Then as I started to approach the end of the book, I found myself delaying my reading just so it wouldn't end. I was saddened almost heart broken that it was over.I felt like I was living Ms. Coley's life. I was having so much fun with it...when she laughed I laughed when she was scared I was scared...This is a must have and a must give!!! 5I laughed and I sighed...This book was quite different from any I've ever read. I felt as if I knew Zoe within a few pages. I could actually visualize her life; I even 'saw' the stained couch (LOL)! I also sensed her frustration and other real, raw emotions.Watching her take giant leaps of faith - most out of sheer necessity - encourages me. I know I can do it too!This book gave me hope and reminded me that "It won't be this way always....." 5I Read it Again...The first time I read this was for my Book Club and we all had mixed feeling about it. This time I took it a bit slowly and I laughed at highlights that made me remember why I rated it a 5 in the first place.I remember days of dating someone expecting them to be more than I knew they were. I can remember being a Temp, taking jobs because I had to and not because I wanted to, and I remember trying to do things on my own. I could relate to Zoe and being ashamed to get Public Assistance and leaving home for the big city with big dreams. And of course a woman and her shoe collection...This book was well thought out, well written, and delivered the right amount of humor to keep my interest. Great read, the characters just jumped off the page and you felt you were living their lives. 5Inspirational and RealI have been a follower of Felicia's blog Well Heeled and had a feeling there was something special about this book. Surely not disappointed! Zoe's character felt so real and her triumphs so easy to relate to. From displaying the struggles of a controlling relationship to knowing when to ask for help in rough times, Zoe's strength truly inspired me and is a great read to remind us that what many of us may consider those smaller luxuries in life are not to be taken forgranted. An enjoyable read and a wonderful gift for any woman while superb for the single gal! 5A Fabulously Realistic Read!I absolutely loved this book! It was like reading my BFF's diary and finding out all the stuff I really wanted to know, only with her permission. What I found most refreshing about this book and Zoe, the main character, was the realistic story it told. No fairy-tale endings, no prince with a glass slipper to wisk her away, just real life - with all its ups, downs, ins and outs. Too many books and movies try so hard to sell "the happy ending" but what was fabulous about this book was seeing Zoe persevere through her fascinating and often difficult cirucmstances and end up in some ways, right back where she started - just a lot wiser, a lot stronger, and a whole lot more self-assurred. Most of our lives are probably a lot more like Zoe's than Cinderella's - I know mine is and so are the lives of my friends. So I'd encourage you to get a cup of tea and sit down for a great evening with a new friend...Zoe. I loved the book, it caught my attention from the moment I picked it up. As I pictured the Zoe character, I found myself attracted to her, and wanted to be there for her in her time of need. Thats how real the author made her, It's good to know that Zoe followed her senses and ran from a potentially dangerous relationship when she did. Good for Zoe, I await the next chapters of her story, Zoe realized its never too late for a fresh start. A man's point of view.. 5A Stylish Delight with Life LessonsI read this book in a single weekend and was drawn to the main character immediately. I absolutely loved this book. It was engaging and a definite pageturner. Zoe is my hero and I believe that she can easily be an inspiration for women everywhere! 5
