    I LOST MY FIRST BUTTON, THIS IS MY SECOND ...I LOST MY FIRST BUTTON, THIS IS MY SECOND, NEED TO HAVE MY SECURITY COMPANY PROGRAM 5Great emergency alarm switchI purchased this for my store. We own a chain of Check Cashing stores in Florida, and got the Honeywell L5200 package. This stays behind the counter as an emergency switch, programmed as a silent alarm.Programming was super easy, just enter the code on the back of the product and it's setup. 5it is a good fit for a panic buttonI use this product quite frequently.it is a good fit for a panic button. Older people find that it is easy to push. 5Works as it should!Easily configured to my mom's Vista 21P system. She used it when she fell a few weeks ago. She says it gives her comfort knowing that she can get help anytime. 5Works as advertisedWorks as advertised. Would purchase again. 4Like a Mini-Security Control Panel You Keep With You...Warning: You need to be familiar with the process to enroll this panic transmitter into your security system before you buy. Devices such as this one usually require a master or installer code to add it to your system, otherwise you'll have to hire a professional or your security monitoring company to do it. You should also make sure this device is compatible with your particular system. Make sure they are willing to install a device which you purchased rather than obtaining the same device through the installer. I've had other Honeywell security devices that came with clearer instructions on how to enroll them than this one does, but I did manage to get it enrolled. Anyway, know your system or how to install this device before purchasing. Once enrolled though it works great and only requires one hand to operate. You have to hold down the button for several seconds to send the signal to the master unit or security panel, which prevents false triggering by bumping the transmitter. This item comes with a wrist strap as well as a neck lanyard. I keep one of these transmitters at the head of my bed to use in case of a home intrusion or medical emergency in order to trigger the master audible alarm. This saves having a second or costly auxiliary security panel mounted in your bedroom. If your alarm system is monitored, then you may also be able to instruct your monitoring company on how to respond to the panic alarm. This can be different for different monitored devices enrolled. For instance, a smoke or heat detector would instruct them call the emergency team immediately, whereas a window or door alarm could ask them to phone you or someone on your list of people to notify in your selected order. This panic transmitter could be used as a medical alert for an elderly person or just a panic alarm depending on how you had the response configured at the monitoring company. It could be a silent alarm or set off the main sonic alarm on your system. Also, many security systems allow for email or text alerts upon triggering, so even if you didn't have the panic button sound any audible alarm, you could set it up so each time it was pressed you received a text message plus an email. Or, have the monitoring company phone you or others in addition to receiving the text messages. This might work for monitoring an elderly parent who lives alone. You could perhaps instruct your parent(s) to press the button each night when they went to bed and again when they woke up in the morning and have the security system automatically text you so you'd know your loved one(s) where okay. If they pressed it two or more times in succession it could be your indication that there was an emergency. If you failed to receive a message around the usual time, you'd know to check in with them by some other means or have a neighbor look in. It's probably best if you have a monitored service for this in case of a real life threatening emergency, but you get the idea, and there are many scenarios and ways to configure the various systems. 5Very nice.The "wristwatch" adapter is more like a "diver's watch", a bit big and clunky with a heavy rubber strap, but still nice to have an option besides the neck strap, all included. As a panic button it works very well, just make sure you are aware of whether you have installed it as "unsupervised" or "supervised". 4Provides peace of mindThe single button transmitter is easy to operate with one hand, an important feature should the user fall and break one arm as happened to me. Yet the recessed button and 2 second hold time to activate makes false alarms unlikely. And multi-wear accessories helps to ensure use. 5Okay, this is the right product. My advice ...Okay, this is the right product. My advice is not to buy this from this seller. We ordered 6 and returned 4 because they were either defective or had a depleted battery. The replacements we received scored 50% on the functioning product scale. It is apparent their inventory is old and stale.
