    Does the job wellI needed a way to disable two garage door openers and light up an alarm status LED when the alarm system is armed (away), and return them to a normal state when the alarm is off. The GDO's are wired to a relay box which requires 12VDC to disable them, and the LED requires 12V through a dropping resistor, so I just needed a single control line. I started out using the open collector Trigger 17 line on the Honeywell 20p board, which grounded the 12V external relays and LED when the alarm is armed. That works fine, except that you're limited to one line rated at 100 mA max, and there is still the issue of getting a cable with the proper 8 pin connector for the 20p board. I decided to use the 4204 board with four relays. The relays are rated at much higher current and there is room for expansion beyond the single relay that I'm currently using. Programming had a bit of a learning curve at first, but was relatively easy after reviewing the Honeywell manuals and doing some internet searching. The 4204 relay board is a bit pricey, but it does the job very well. 54204 Relay ModuleThis module expanded my system capabilities by adding the much needed four Form C Relays I need to accomplish additional tasks based on system events. 5Works GreatI used this to add an extra battery to push the current for additional horn and two tone sirens. It works great. If you know how to program your system and some basics on wiring, this works to add additional sirens.
