    works wellI had thought my power pack wasn't working so I bought this. This is a very nice power pack and I like tge way it is designed and performs.4So far, been working great for a month.The original, and under-powered, camera power adapter went bad after a few months of powering 4 cameras. This one has been working fine so far, good clean images with no a/c interference or ghosting (they are analog cameras) like I've seen on some low cost power supplies.5Cannot constantly supply power after only a couple of months - AvoidWhen I first got the charger it happily kept 8 cameras running 24/7 without any issues but after a month I had two cameras lose power. I moved these two cameras to previously used adapter without any issues. Then after another few weeks I had to move a couple more cameras off to another adapter I had previously used. After three months I can now only power three cameras and even now if all three are on night vision then one will start flickering.My AC adapter is plugged into a UPS so is being fed "clean" AC so it's not been overvolted or had a surge effect it, so environmental issues are not the cause.1I installed this to power eight cameras versus having so ...I installed this to power eight cameras versus having so many power supplies. After a few days the cameras stopped working. Upon investigating I saw that this power supply had melted. The total amps for the cameras was below what this supply claimed to be able to provide. This power supply is a fire hazard.1Perfect for my application.I had a pieced together system with multiple power transformers. This power supply allowed me to get all my equipment plugged into the same source.5beware of quality control issue.The power adapter has been failing me. There is what I call a degradation in the power flow. Night vision seizes on certain cameras and image quality changes from time to time on certain cameras. The adapter may not be distributing power equally. It worked well when it was new. I will contact the vender regarding the quality of this adapter. I have had this for over 4 months.2Problem solved!Our cameras weren't getting enough power through the power adapters included but this solved the problem! Some of the camera cables are over 100' in length so I suppose some power is lost over extended lengths. We have 8 channel 8 camera Q-SEE system.Great price too! Cheaper than buying a power supply box...5trash.Used it for a week just powering led lights on 1 port. Failed . Will nor turn on. Trash...1Having the right power is a Must..I had noticed my cameras would start getting lines and ghosting in them when the night vision came on. Then I noticed the faint humming sound coming from the old power supply.I did some research and found my old unit was going bad and was also under rated for the cameras I was using.After some searching I was able to find this 12v 5amp 8 port power supply. I was sceptical at first but after putting it on my cameras I wish I would have done it from the beginning.My camera shots are clearer and no longer jump around. The night vision is super clear and bright. I am extremely happy with this power supply.I would recommend it to whoever's using a 12v camera power supply. I will use them on my next projects.5Fantastic power supply for 4+ upgraded surveillance camerasThe stock power supply for my anke camera system with 4 upgraded cameras was so hot I couldn t even touch the power supply.
