    Handy ToolI really like the pen clip on this since I can adjust to show my mark, I cannot see well enough to read it so that is a plus for me. Certainly a tool for any crafter. Sturdy and functional. Recommend this for crafts because it is not big and bulky like others I've seen.4Simple Little Rule Arrived on time, product is as stated and as pictured. Bought the 3-pack: one for the tool box, one for my range bag, one for my wife's kitchen drawer. They are not Starrett, but they are great for the price. And they have pocket clips. 4Great for OCD peopleGot this mostly because there was a deal for like 3$. I figured I might need it. After having it, I would say it's been very useful for me especially since I'm very OCD when I'm fixing or repair things. It's a pretty flat piece of metal, but it's decently solid, and there is a little pen type clip that you could slide along it which helps with the measure process as well. I'd recommend it if you are looking for precision. It's original price was not that much, but to each their own. I myself did not know of it's existence till the deal popped up, but I have found it very valuable to my work, enough to recommend it if you are an OCD person like me.5You will be lost without it. I keep one of these in my pocket at work and I am amazed at just how much I miss it when happen to forget. I am an Elevator Mechanic. The fraction to decimal conversion charts on back are very handy 5Perfect tool This ruler is absolutely indispensable. The best part is that it actually starts at 0. Seems like they all should, right? What a silly comment. No. They don't. This one does and it's amazing. I found the clip to be pretty useless and it's sitting in a drawer but the ruler is constantly in my pocket. 5Beyond mad at this product. Incorrect info in listing made me buy the wrong ruler.I'm beyond pissed and am outside my return window, since I didn't need the rulers until just now, and it's been months since I ordered them.I searched for "metric and inch precision ruler" and ordered this piece of junk which only has inches/imperial.If you look in my pictures, you will see screenshots of this listing showing that in two different place, it shows different measurement information.*The written description says graduations in inches/imperial system.*The specifications say metric!The pictures are too tiny to see in a phone but the listing said metric / inches regardless.Errors in listing information (especially sizes) on Amazon are way out of control inaccurate. I can't count on two hands and all of my toes how many products came that were not the stated dimensions.This needs to be fixed and I should get a full refund for wasting my time.1Perfect for Small, Precise MeasurementsI love this little guy! It's just what I needed for small measurements. The clip is perfect for marking precise lines. It works great for measuring out placement of screws for D-ring picture hangers on canvas. It helps me sketch out scale designs on graphing paper for various house projects, such as installation of shelving and pegboard.I would consider this a "delicate" tool. The metal is thinner than I would prefer, so I'll have to take care to not bend it up.5Pocket-size flexible metal 6-inch rulerIf you never have to measure in metric, then this works great for a flexible metal 6-inch ruler. Although there are conversions in the back, the numbers are quite tiny and not as easy to read. (And who wants to have to look at the back for conversions when it could've been easier to put both metric and imperial measurements on the same side?) It's a good, portable, metal 6-inch ruler and a great value for what I paid.4Ok for the moneyI'm a little disappointed, I bought this as a depth gauge but the clip has to much wiggle in it to be accurate. I will try to squeeze with pliers to see if I can tighten it up if not at least it didn't cost me too much. The rule itself is pretty good. The calibrations are engraved not painted on. All in all it's really not bad quality for the money if I was only using it as a rule it would be perfect.3Great Ruler For the PriceThese are identical to pocket rulers I have previously purchased from a major tool store chain. The advantage of buying them online is that I don't have to drive 10 miles in a poorly-running car on a hot summer day to get them. At about $2 each (as of August of 2019), it's pretty painless to stock up on them. I carry one in my shirt pocket most all the time, and they come in handy for more than just measuring things. I can use them as a light duty pry bar, or I can even use the sharp corners to open stubborn packages. (Those sharp corners can also cause lacerations on your fingers, so be careful handling these rulers! The corners must necessarily be a little on the sharp side, to facilitate accurate measurements right down to the 32nd of an inch.) I use these rulers to draw nice tables, graphs, and charts. I won't be caught without them. But, like anything else that is small, they are ridiculously easy to lose--which is why I buy several at a time so I'll have spares on hand.5Inconsistent Quality I ordered a 3 pack, which arrived in a plain plastic bag. One had a 3/16 curve in it (not bent or damaged in shipping, but an even curve across its length that I can t reverse without bending/kinking it. This one may end up in the trash unfortunately. Another has course machining marks across the front face. Not the fine brushed stainless finish, these machine marks were added on top of that. I can live with that since this one will be used as a 0.020 shim for sharpening plane irons. The third one is fine. So expect to roll the dice and take advantage of Amazon s liberal return policy until you get a good one. The pocket/depth clips Have a lot of side to side movement which is common with this sort of ruler, so I didn t expect any better. Made in the USA still, but obviously that had no impact on quality control. 2Precision to the 50th's value pack. Precision measurement for those who have eyes. A handyman's level up ruler and an absolute necessity for Machinist and and a must have for finish carpentry. cheaters conversion chart on the back. Why buy one when you can buy a three and leave them where you need (left?) them. 5A must for accurate mesurements.I use this pocket rule literally dozens of times a day. Very accurately ruled, decimal conversion on the back is incredibly convenient. Pocket clip works as a depth gauge as well as a small square. Great for marking small areas. I feel lost as a woodworker without this in my overalls pocket!!! It's also nice to see a tool that is made in the USA :)5Simple and it WorksI've been looking for one of these for a while. Yup, it's a ruler and yup, it's well made. When it's not in my pocket, it's a bookmark for my Field Notes notebook. The flexible stainless steel seems to hold up without any bows or bends. It's doesn't need batteries and I can read it (mostly) with my bifocals. It's simple and it works, which is how things should be. Made in the U.S.A. if you're wondering.4Nice metal ruler with clip, but lacks metricGood design and style with it's sliding clip which resembles a mini adjustable T-square ruler. The price is right for the quality and I did like the decimal conversion chart (down to 1/64) on the back which was a neat feature. Also it is MADE IN THE USA!!! Due to this ruler lacking metric, I am unable to give this 5 stars.4
