Customer Reviews

Hands down best tool for most jobsProbably top used tool in my tear down cart, main box, and overflow box combined. I haven t broken one yet, hint: don t keep hammering on them. If it doesn t break loose use some penetrant or a stronger impact.5They lock up After a bit of use I've noticed some lock up and wont swivel anymore. An impact can turn them but you cant turn them by hand. That can make it difficult to get the socket on the bolt you're trying to remove 4Wear through easily. Be gentle and they'll last awhile Collars that hold locking pins are not made of hardened steel. Wear through easily. Be gentle and they'll last awhile. 3Not what it looks likeBeware, this set does NOT come in a blow molded case. They are just the sockets, on a cheap plastic rail. The photo is very false advertising.1GREAT PRODUCT THEY ARE THE BEST BANG FOR THE BUCK WORK FANTASTIC I SOLD SNAPON TOOLS FOR THREE YEARS AND THIS PRODUCT IS THE ANSWER TO YOUR PROBLEMS 5Best tool for the price. This set is worth its weight in gold in my opinion. To put things in perspective, the Snap-on version of metric 3/8 impact sockets goes for over $450 dollars for a set of only 7. This was less than $110 and double the amount of sockets that the Snap-on set comes with. Also it has a lifetime warranty and you have the option to purchase additional insurance through square trade which would still be way less than the Snap-on set. Great quality tool. I have heavily used them all now on my air impact for almost a year now and not one of them have malfunctioned or broke.5Excellent Set Excellent set - I use them everyday in my work - No issues and the Cornwell tool dealer warrantees them if needed. 5Not the greatest quality.First got to say I am a huge fan with gearwrench tools and I do use these wobble socket everyday as a professional mechanic. These wobble socket are not the greatest quality after just having it for a month use they started to jam up and sometime we ll not adjust to one side for it price it is not worth the hassle. I would recommend doing some research and buying better quality set as I have experience with the hassle. Sorry gearwrench I hope you guys can really develop a better quality set as I don t mind spending another $70-100 for something better design for everyday use. I really hope you guys listen to people voice as there is a huge demand for these kind of tool. 3Cheap price, cheap qualityFirst of all, I am a huge Gearwrench fan and i use primary Gearwrench tools proffessionally every day. However, these wobble sockets are garbage. They bind after any real use. I was hoping they would stop binding and smooth out with further use, but nope. And then after a good amount of use, the collars will break loose and these sockets will literally start falling apart. It's just not worth warrantying these sockets out every week. Don't waste your time or money on these. I am still not a fan of donating to the tool trucks, so I went with Sunex for my 1/2 wobble socket set and they have held up for me without an issue. Sunex is the way to go for cheap(er than the trucks) wobble sockets, but Gearwrench has absolutely failed in this area1Good tools at the under $100 pricetagJust got these, and I am impressed. Heavy duty, and good action on an impact gun. They are a little more bulky than the S&K set, but I'll deal with it for the price.I added some pics to give you an idea of the size on a Dewalt 18v impact gun. I figured most people have a good idea how big this impact gun is for comparison. As for the case, its nice. Pretty sure it only comes with the 15pc set, not the 8pc as seen in the pics.5Great tool for the money!Broke a Snap-on socket, then a Matco, then bought this thinking it would be a one time use, it has outlasted the other more expensive tools!! Run them with my IR 15Q and my 2115 Ti, and they just keep on going!5Profile little too bulky for 3/8"-drive tools.Very robust construction but could be a disadvantage in terms of clearance. For being 3/8"-drive, I think is over overengineered - the diameter of the swivel joint is too big for tight spots. For 1/2"-drive, it's understandable, but for smaller 3/8"-drive, I would want the profile a little slimmer.Other than that, typical Gearwrench quality: very good for the money.4Not like in pictureMisleading picture does not come with the case. After first use they get hard to swivel which is the whole point2BulkyHated how bulky they are. Ended up using them 3 times, or tried to anyway, after not seeing a use for them I sold them on Craigslist. As an auto tech, modern car spaces are getting tighter under the hood and these things just wouldn t fit anywhere. One of my coworkers has a set and was not happy about the quality. Had too many complaints with cracking and the swivel coming apart. They seemed sturdy to me though. Shame because I really love gearwrench products.2
