    Decent little lights. These little flashlights were just delivered today, so I can't comment on on their durability or battery life, but I can say that for what they cost, they are good, bright little lights. They don't feel cheap like the dozens of freebie flashlights I've gotten over the years. I was a little worried that they would feel just like the cheap 3 AAA lights with the plastic battery bank insert that you get at shows, or as swag from a recruiter or something. They're pretty nice for the price point, and certainly bright enough. I wanted something simple that ran on common batteries, with an on and off button. Not a twist on, or focus, they just turn on, and off. We'll see how they hold up, but for now, I'm happy with the purchase. 4as I have one and really like it. This seems like a great alternative I wanted to buy a Coast flashlight, as I have one and really like it. This seems like a great alternative. The light feels well built. The unique look will make it stand out some when searching for it. One problem with so many lights today is modes of operation. Most require each mode be cycled through before coming to the only one ever used. This is just a light, just an on and off switch, nice. It has a very bright beam in a small room or confined space. 5Looks well made. Same brightness as other pen light ... Looks well made. Same brightness as other pen light LEDs I have. I was looking for a simple on/off without the dimming mode or flashing mode. This fits the bill. And the end cap actually works with ease. I say that because I bought three Streamlite pen lights at much higher price and the end cap was almost impossible to press for full on. I had to modify the end cap to work. This one is same size and brightness.. 5Flashlight doesn't go the distance I purchased this flashlight combo in November 2018. At first I was impressed with the price and the quality but reserved my review until I seriously had to use it. Well that day came yesterday when I needed a small flashlight to do some bathroom sink under the counter plumbing work.The flashlight after several minutes started "flickering" from a low to bright light (new battery was properly installed). I could not complete the work using the flashlight and took out my more expensive Streamlight 66118 Stylus Pro LED PenLight that I also purchased here on Amazon and it worked flawlessly while being turned on for well over an hour. Buying this garbage flashlight only goes to reinforce the old notion that "you get what you pay for". Again it's fine turning it on off but when you REALLY need it to perform and stay on for a longer time it will let you down. Don't waste your money and instead spend a little more and have the a good flashlight that won't let you down. 1Excellent purchase and great price... As bright as my friend's streamlight and pelican lights that are the same build. But the color temp is little warmer. Not much (not as blue white). One of them had a slight mechanical/intermittent contact issue in the switch but it only happened once and hasn't repeated any failures. The clip is sturdy. More so than I expected. And so is the overall construction. They are really lightweight compared the aforementioned ones I compared it to. The only thing that might be bothersome is the inside diameter of the battery compartment is just slightly too large. I mean just barely. So if you shake the light it will rattle just a bit. This is easily solved with a single wrap of nylon plumbers tape around each the middle of each battery. If they hold up for a while I will come back to get some more. Would be great stocking stuffers for Christmas. 5Very nice light for the price! I'm a general contractor and always have a small flashlight in my pocket. These little gearlights are excellent for that purpose. About the same size as a sharpie marker, the switch is recessed so it is difficult to accidentally switch it on, and quite powerful. I do notice that if the light is on for 10 minutes or so, it does get warm and the light output seems to decrease slightly. Could be the batteries, I have been using it quite a bit. For the price, it can't be beat. 5Ample brightness in a durable, lightweight package. I go through these things pretty quickly. I figured 2 at a time at a decent price might be the way to go. These work great and appear very durable. For me, the light is very bright and the button has just the right amount of resistance to let you know you cut it on without putting extreme amounts of pressure on it. I end up holding these in my mouth quite a bit when I'm working on something and the light weight is a definite plus.Will they last? Who knows at this point but so far I'm very happy with them. 5Great solid pen light. Awesome quick accessible light source! Like carrying a pen, not sure on lumen output but it's very bright!Definielty buying again 5Dont waste your time (updated 8/14) Updated 8/14: I received a pair of replacement lights from the seller with no request from or cost to me. These lights are bright and seem durable. I have not had any issues from the replacement pair. Had the first pair not been duds I'd say 5/5 stars. Test them immediately if you do buy.Worst purchase in a long time. Bought these so my wife and I could use them to check pupils (I work ER she works PICU). We both put fresh batteries in and went to work. Shortly after turning mine on to check a patient the light went dim then off. Thought I had bum batteries so I changed them and tried again. Same result. Asked my wife about the one she took and she had the same results with two sets of batteries. One light doing it is a fluke, both doing it is a sign of poor quality. I'll be going back to a streamlight pen light. 4Just what I needed and at a great price Here is the short of it: These things are a great value and well worth their price. Actually they are a bargain for what you get. I use my flashlights a lot due to aging eyes, a lot of work that needs good illumination and two dogs that I have to take out every night. I have been through a lot of flashlights, large and small and have learned what I like and what I don't. This light I love.What I like:Very reasonable price. In fact this light is worth much more than its humble price.Nice size and features. The simple push button on the end is easy to use and works well. The size of the light is very convenient and fits easily in a pocket out of the way.Brightness and color: This thing works much better than I could ever expect. I am just very impressed with its clean white beam and the brightness. I can walk my dog at night with just this little powerhouse.Build: It seems very well made for the price. Again, I have a lot of lights but none of the lower priced lights come close to this thing.I love it. Its just what I needed, sized right to carry in a pocket, nice and bright, built very well, simple and best of all it uses normal AAA batteries not some odd ball special or expensive battery like AAAA's or CR123's.. I use the Panasonic rechargeable and save even more money. Yes, I would buy it again without a thought. Fact is I think I will get some more and give them out at Christmas as a stocking stuffer. 5
