Customer Reviews

Emits a buzzing humm Bulbs have a slight buzzing sound that comes out of it and definitely a bit dimmer than I wanted (which is probably my fault for not figuring out the necessary LED wattage conversation). It is a tiny bulb but the noise is what bothers me the most when i'm trying to sleep. 2Great for hard-to-reach places.I have a Tiffany style lamp that takes 12 of these small candelabra base lightbulbs. Up until now I had been putting incandesce and bulbs into it the problem with that was that would burn out and I would have to buy a whole new set about every year and a half.Hopefully this will last longer than that and use less power to boot. While they are little more expensive I think that it'll pay off in not having to change them out.One thing I did notice is a side-by-side comparison these seem slightly dimmer than the income doesn't counterparts. But once they were installed there's no noticeable difference in the quality of light.I would definitely recommend this product for any light that has difficult access. Such as high sconces or chandeliers. The longevity of LED lightbulbs makes them pay off rather quickly in not having to struggle getting access to change out a lightbulb. The Energy efficiency is icing on the cake.5Good bulb, may not be as bright as you think, but it is what I wantedI used this bulb to replace Philips 7.5-Watt White Night Light Incandescent bulbs I had from Home Depot. I used an adapted to have them fit a regular socket. I am using this for dim lighting along my stairway, so I did not want anything bright. I am not sure how accurate any of the lumen measurements / ratings are on any of these bulbs. For what it is worth, they are barely as bright as the 7.5 watt bulbs that they replaced. Philips rated their bulbs at 35 lumen, and these are rated at 80. I was worried that these would be too bright for what I wanted. For me, this worked out perfect as they are as dim as I had hoped. Just be conscious of the fact that the lumen ratings may not be a valid measure. From what I can tell so far, these bulbs are white (not blue or green as you see in some other bulb reviews). One other small thing I notice... Since the bottom half of the unit is not the glass bulb as you would find in an incandescent, the projection of light is more to the side and up from the bulb, and some downwards to the base. Again, not a huge issue for me, but did notice the slight difference in light projection.4PerfectThis is perfect for a night light. I bought a pretty lamp for my 3yr old but he couldnt fall asleep with the light. It didnt say how many w it was, but i bought these because they were the least i found. They are exactly right. You can see in the room but it wont keep baby awake5Great light bulb for use where it is on all the time. I used this in our refrigerator door water dispenser. We leave this light on all the time and a standard incandescent 4 or 7 watt night lite bulb generates a noticeable amount of heat in the restricted space. This LED bulb stays cool and supposedly should last for a much longer time. The pwoer usage has also dropped to about 12 cents a year. 5Very good bulb but the light emitted is closer to daylight (white, not 2700).Of the three 4 watt equivalent C7 bulbs I ordered and tried from Amazon, these were the best. However, I was still disappointed that they emitted more of a daylight glow, rather than the yellowish glow that GE 4 watt incandescent bulbs emit. Placed side-by-side with an incandescent bulb, there was a noticeable difference. For my application, lighting Dicken s Village houses, having the yellowish glow, rather than a daylight glow, was important to exude the light that our brains interpret as warmth and comfort. For now, I will have to stick with 4 watt C7 incandescent bulbs until someone designs an LED bulb that comes close to matching the lumens and wavelength of light that these bulbs emit.4Last long timeI have 2 night lights for my kids that are on 12 hours a day on average, both bulbs went out within a couple weeks of each other. But thats 420 days x12 hours. Not even close to what is advertised, but alot more than the garbage i have bought else where. Also i see several people talk about humming, mine do not humm. Maybe what you are plugging it into is causing the humming.Im in for 2 more.5Fine if you don't mind the humming noise. It works fine but it makes humming sound after it's been on for a while. It does not bother me too much but my husband doesn't like it at all... 3LOUD light bulbs. They buzz when on.Ok so I like that it's LED, I like that it's plastic instead of glass (which is great for using in night lights that kids might get their hands on), but what I don't like is the loud buzzing sound it makes! It drives me nuts. I tried unscrewing it and screwing it back in to make sure it was snug in there... made sure the nightlight is plugged into the wall fully. Nope, nothing helps. Can't use for bedtime in a bedroom, using it in the bathroom currently for nighttime.3LEDs are fun.Not quite as bright as I was hoping for, but they are nightlights, and are very suitable for typical applications (I was looking for something extra bright, but in a C7 package). An interesting thing about LEDs is that the light and shadows they cast are very linear so you can get quite a dramatic difference in appearance over filament bulbs4Just what I was looking for in a low-lumen LED bulb.I wanted a low lumen LED bulb to use as a night light in our bathroom ceiling fan fixture. It's wired with a motion detector and the fixture directly aligns with our bed. I wanted an LED with just enough light to see where I'm going, but not so bright as to wake someone up in bed. It's difficult to find a low lumen LED. Most put out more light than I wanted. So, if you're expecting a bright bulb, this is not what you're looking for. This is a low-light LED bulb and I recommend it.5LightIt s a great night lite. It isn t so bright that it blinds you. It s a soft little glow. Would recommend for a child or babies room. Thank you5Perfect for baby roomI was looking for a night light that took away total darkness but was not too bright. Other night lights left a glare on the nursery monitor and it was so bright that when the baby rolled toward the night light, he would wake up. I love this one because it gives off enough light to see and navigate to his crib in the dark, but it is not a harsh brightness.5
