Love it!!! I LOVE this camera! But watch out for a price change, when I got it this was almost $85, now its only $69! I got this camera in mint, and honestly it doesnt look exactly like any of the pictures color wise, its definitely not the second picture, more of a combination of the first and the third, but its really a beautiful color. It was easy enough to figure out the instructions, a lot of it was in japanese but there was a big section with pictures in English, but read the instructions carefully! Put the batteries in before the film (I made this mistake) and make sure the batteries are in the correct + - spots (I also made this mistake) but once its up and going its awesome! The lighting for the pictures took a bit of time for me to figure out (I wasted 2 pictures, ugh) but usually it will place the light on whichever one it needs and you just turn the dial on the one where the light is. The pictures are always beautiful and high quality (as long as the lighting is correct and you dont shake the camera too much while taking it of course) and this camera is just all around amazing, I bring it everywhere with me. The main difference between the mini 8 and the mini 8+ is there is a tiny mirror on the rim just outside of the lens that you can see yourself in if you want to take a selfie. Even though the mirror is small its actually very helpful and usefull, definitely worth the extra couple of dollars (because if you're going to spend this much on one of these babies you might as well get the highest quality one with all the bells and whistles) All in all this is an amazing camera, I love love love it and you will too! Its so much better having actual pictures of moments than just ones on your phone. You won't regret this purchase!! 5The camera is cute and a fun idea, but honestly if you're more interested in ... The camera is cute and a fun idea, but honestly if you're more interested in just having physical polaroids of your adventures and aren't too attached to the aesthetic of actually carrying a separate camera around, my advice is to get the Instax printer that you connect wirelessly to your phone. You get WAY better quality photos (the difference is stark), and you waste way less film because you can adjust the photos in the printer app before you print them. 3Fun Takes great pictures in lots of light other wise photos with look darker with a much darker background in little lighting like in door lights without any natural light coming in. Taking a up close picture of a teacup twice the teacup was not centered in the photo even though I had it aligned in the view finder. But over all I love the camera it's quit fun 4I am in love with this camera I am in love with this camera! It's so cute and very pretty. I'm so glad that I brought it! It's works really well and I really recommend this camera. 5Unfortunately, a no-go I attached a photo of some of the pictures I couldn't let go of, despite the blurry/overexposed quality. I was exceedingly excited to receive this and start using it. However, after researching how to properly use it when every picture (on each photo setting) came out almost white, blurry, weirdly colored, or almost black, it still did not work as it should. I understand there's reason to apply that to "user error", but it seems to be more of a "product error" since most of the pictures were so bad I had to dispose of them. I have many friends who took pictures during the same events, same backgrounds, etc and their's turned out great. I wanted to see if I could make it work better..and at times, you can see when a few have turned out. But most of the time they haven't. I've wasted numerous packs of color film (which are expensive!), and very disappointed. I waited months to post this review as to not tarnish the brand, but for the amount of money spent on this edition and all the film, it's necessary to share. Hope this helps. Its Super Duper Cute Oh My God I Think That You Should Get It Its So Cool And Pretty And A Super Cute Packaging Totally Recommend It 5Color Differences I'm writing this post as a response to color questions.The "mint" color (instax on the left) is a more muted turquoise as opposed to the Urban Outfitters' exclusive.I personally recommend the instax 8+ for its built in mirror.The 8+ also includes a close up attachment that the earlier model does not have.Edit 2016-I have added a handy chart as to what "blue" like colors are available. The only missing color is the Baby Blue, in which I will soon (I hope) 5Absolutely in Love I'm so glad I finally took the plunge! I've been wanting an instax for a while but I could never reason with myself to get one since the film is a hassle to get but I came across these "exclusive" colors on here and I couldn't help myself!! I bought the cocoa color and it is a beautiful nude beige with the slightest hint of pink.My mom had an old genuine polaroid that I used when I was 9 or 10 and this gives me the same instant satisfaction that hers once gave me. I love it and I can't wait to take it everywhere with me as I travel this summer.I wish I invested in this a long time ago! If you're hesitant about getting one and travel a few times a summer like I do, just get it and add the 50 pack of film for $35 to your cart as well!! 5Love this camera. So adorable. I love, love, LOVE this little camera! Of course, the quality isn't as good as a digital or the camera on a new iPhone. I mean, that's common sense--it's instant film after all. But for what is is, it's great. If you use the right settings, your pictures should come out nice. If one isn't familiar with how instant film cameras and film work, YouTube and Google can help with all of that. I've worked with instant film years ago when Polaroid film was still in stores so I'm familiar with settings and lighting, etc. While it's not as good as Polaroid, it's pretty darn Close and using this camera has been very fun and nostalgic for me.It's Comfortable to hold. The color is even nicer in person and the camera itself is adorable. I bought a twin pack of film with my purchase and already need to buy more because I've been having so much fun with this camera. Also, there are many cute add-on/accessories to go with these cameras, which I plan on buying soon. 5Wish it worked I was so excited about this camera. However the light settings do not work, nor does the flash, which means I can't take pictures outside and everything is whitewashed inside. I was so happy to have a Polaroid camera for memories and vacations but can only use this indoor and the quality is still bad. By the time I realized it only worked sometimes it was too late to return it. I would recommend buying through a vendor that has a good warranty or return policy :( 1
