This i a great speed flash mount that also allow you to use ...This i a great speed flash mount that also allow you to use and umbrella style softbox or attachment. Draw back it the holder aren't very good at hold speed light if your not carefule they could fall out. 5SturdyThis is a nice piece of equipment. I had used it several times. I couldn't give it a 5 star rating because, like so many others, I found the umbrella hole to small for the shaft to penetrate through. I will probably use it with separate modifiers on each flash 3Seems like it could be a really nice bracket, but....Seems like it could be a really nice bracket, but the one that was sent to me has a the bolt for mounting the shoe foot installed into the frame crooked, so the whole bracket sits titled on my camera's hotshoe. It's just bad craftsmanship by the manufacturer, and there is another review on the Adorama website where that buyer encountered the same problem.Another flash bracket that I purchased from Amazon doesn't fit any of the flash shoe feet on any of my devices (mic, flash, video light, etc.). It's getting to the point that I simply cannot go by the description of Adorama products anymore, because I always seem to have to return everything to them. Rather disappointing. 2Too bad I cannot return thisThe umbrella hole is a hit or miss, depending on the diameter of your umbrella rod. Its not very steady, it rotates and brings heavy part down, there's no provision of securing this on the umbrella rod. Also the flash/speedlite holders are not of the correct dimensions, my Canon 43EX III-RT fell off it twice. Too bad I cannot return this . 1Carefull with thisYou need to be careful if you are planning on using an umbrella with this. The 43" Westcott's I have would not fit in it. The sumbrella hafts were just a little to big to go in the hole. Other than that, it will work well if you need to stack your flashes for more power. 3The bracket is solidly built. Becareful of the metal to metal contactThe bracket is solidly built. However, the bottom tripod mount is bare metal. Metal to metal contact is very hard to tighten without scratching the hot shoe on the cam. There are two circular thumb wheel on the shoe mount. The top one to tighten and lock the bracket in place is terrible; it wiggles from metal to metal and hard to tighten by hand. I improvised with thin cushion at both ends of the thumb wheel. It works great after that. Knock off one star for the less thoughtful execution. 4Very useful to owna nice way to add mic's and LED Lighting to a Video Rig. I can mount my Zoom H6 and a LED Light Panel using this, as the main mounting point on my Video rig. Or you can mount 3 portable Flash units to a Umbrella, using this mount. 5OK.The umbrella hole is too small to hold the umbrella I bought (Westcott 45" Satin with Removable Black cover). As well, one of the flash cold shoe screw is too long and interfered with one of my tripod mount - I had to turn it sideways for it to fit. 2This little unit is pretty well madeThis little unit is pretty well made. The hot shoe adapter that came with it is not the very best of quality, but what can you expect in this price range. I needed another shoe mount adapter anyway and got a good one for the bottom and used the one that came with the bracket to mount my Tascam audio recorder which weighs next to nothing.This bracket is exactly what I was expecting. Good equipment at the right price. 5
