    The outside plastic cover on that unit didn't last long though in the AZ sun and my uncle gave me one of his old firestiks and i My first fiberglass antenna was a cheap one from Radio shack and worked OK. When I installed a CB radio in my dads truck I was sure to by the firestik brand and was not disappointed and as a bonus it had a tuneable tip and it is much easier than cutting the wire when tuning your CB. It's the only fiberglass antenna I will buy from now on.- Andy 5It works Worked very well mounted on my Jeep JK on my license plate. I'm not the greatest at tuning but I was able to get this to work and hear everyone on the trails clearly. 5Exactly what everyone with a CB radio needs. Not much to say, it works great, shipping was fairly good. 5Perfect condition and going strong. Great antenna. Everything I d expect from fire stick. Working flawless years after purchase. This lives on my trail Jeep and has been whipped, stabbed, beaten, slapped, and drowned along the way in these past few years and still tunes up just as great as the day I bought it (1.2-1.5 SWR across all 40). Seriously, I did not expect it to survive this long. It s almost comical the amount of abuse this antenna will take sitting on top of a 4 spring. Your mileage may vary, but I m a believer. I did have to turn the top screw almost all the way out to get my unit tuned, but it is running perfectly. I do wish the little rubber cap that covers the tuning screw was a bit longer (I had to wrap tape around mine at the bottom to hold it on due to not much left to grip with because of the screw up so high).
